  1. If you do not feel experienced enough to do it independently - suggest that you locate a friend / girlfriend who understands computers and ask them to come with you. What I would check is: that the parts on the computer match what was posted (using a physical test + software that shows the specifications of the installed components) basic integrity tests for memory / drives (using dedicated software), and other built-in components (say if there is built-in WIFI / BLUETOOTH, or if the sale includes Any peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, printer) Check that all connections work: USB, network If there are different connections to a video card - also. This can be a bit difficult because there is not always a screen / cables that allow you to check all the connections, and there is not always a network point available. If the seller declares that there is a warranty - check against an invoice (not relevant in this case) If the seller declares that Windows is licensed - ask to see beaten (yes relevant in this case)

  2. Depends on which startup and which role. Experts in important fields with an understanding of depth and breadth will be coveted at any age. What damage do you mean? I can think of two things - it is clear that someone who starts working at 30 will accumulate less seniority and less money and less pension than someone who starts at 20, but the relevant question here is of course the comparison to other areas. Let’s say you start at age 30 with a 20K salary, while someone who started at age 20 will be the same age as you already with a 30K salary and a respectable accrual. It is true that he has an advantage over you, but if your personal alternative is another job where you will continue to earn (say) 15K - then where is the damage? There is of course a matter of stability. If you are in a place of tenure, then even with lower wages, it can have long-term benefits. The second thing is that you may be afraid that if you start at age 30, then you will not have time to acquire knowledge and experience and become a professional until you reach an age where it is difficult to give output of many hours, then you will be uncompetitive against those who have more experience. It's something to think about, but I would not call it "harm", it's more of a risk than a chance. And that, in the end, is the right advice. It has nothing to do with the profession, but with the specific workplace you work in versus the place where you live. Tens of thousands of high-tech people exist in the exact same reality. A matter of choice, priorities and willingness to invest to be based in a place that may be more appropriate. This is true to some extent, but the reason you need some love (or I would say, "affinity" for the profession) is that if you have none at all, it's just not an area you can succeed in. It's not a job as a cashier or a guard or a bank clerk, or a sanitation inspector, who can be more or less a robot, work according to a template, come knock a card and go out. This is a job that requires creativity and thought on a regular basis. You have no chance if you do not come with a certain desire (and of course ability, but in my opinion it is something that anyone with normal intelligence can develop).

  3. In short you will add the few shekels to a variant without the F. (You can also order the 12700K from Amazon for NIS 1500)

  6. The board is just expensive, the 3060 is significantly weaker than the 3060 TI, you have no cooling for the processor and you just pay for the name you buy Samsung storage. Here is a specs with a significantly better video card and a key regulation for online windows at a tenth of the price.

  7. It's like asking about a battery, "Besides it gives a lot of work time, what is its advantage?" High resolution and better performance rules and smooth in the same devices. Regarding the battery - the number of cells has long been a secondary parameter. What matters is the capacity of the battery, which in the case of the laptop you bought, is a reasonable plus, or fine plus, because there are quite a few laptops from Lenovo itself that are sold with 45 amp hours and of course also from other manufacturers. But ... battery capacity is only part of the picture. One needs to check how the specific model actually behaves, i.e. how long it can work with the battery inside it. It varies between mobile and mobile even by "model year" of the same model. The main lesson you have probably already learned on your own is that it is best to ask before buying. No need to hesitate two months, but you should ask before buying.

  8. If the card is screened at 99% you are in excellent condition and there is no reason to upgrade (at least for GOW). You'll probably see some improvement (especially at a minimum), but if you are not planning on upgrading a video card anytime soon I think you will wait and buy it all together already.

  10. It's pretty disconnected. I have a relative who comes to the bank every day as part of work for something that must be done in front of a human being. On the way he sees a very large rainbow population (elderly, disabled and more) who can barely cope with the automation of simple clerk operations that have moved to machines like depositing checks. If the bank is given permission to close branches and cancel the possibility of performing certain operations, it should also oblige it to sign these people that someone has instructed them in a clear and quality way how to carry out the operations and that they have understood and know.

  13. The maximum that the S20 takes is 25w in fast charging. A charger that can give more than that will be able to charge several devices at the same time or maybe a laptop but will not improve the charging time.

The only thing I think about mechanical keyboards is that they are completely individual and each person likes something different for different reasons, I think you have no choice but to find where you can try and see what works for you. In any case, with regard to stickers, for NIS 100 you can have engraving of Hebrew letters on each keyboard.

  17. Preliminary price lists of stores show that the Core i5 12500 comes close to the price of 12400. In the domestic market, it seems that the 12500 is the right choice for gaming. With added frequency in the effort it is likely to be the ultimate gaming solution. Regarding simple B660 boards - one should see how the models with the cheapest power systems cope with such a processor. I think it's okay, but not a fan of what GIGABYTE and ASUS have done so far. When the Ryzen 5 5600X costs 850 shekels like the Core i5 12500, maybe a comparison between them would be fair. Right now, the large Delta in price leaves the 5600X a bit in the dark

  18. I do not know what the differences are especially since the Electra is a sticker product from another model that is probably not expensive. By and large they indicate differently the suction power and everything so a little hard to differentiate and hard to find reviews on it. Regarding cordless vacuum cleaners there are all sorts of things that are important to look at like the hepa filter they have and if they indicate beyond that something on the level of the filter. Pumping power and for how long at maximum power (minimum power is not so relevant). Charging times is of course nice to have as short a charge as possible between charges. If there is an option for a removable battery then it is good both for longer pumping and charging while (if the charger is external) and also for cases where one battery is less functional after a while. Convenience of emptying garbage and container size is something that is of course nice to have better. According to reviews then one can see how the accessories and the main brush work and whether they collect large or medium pieces or not. Even if they are good with rugs or not. And by and large there are many other parameters.

  21. Because of Yoav's response I chose to comment, it is possible to run XMP on Z370 boards and it is not related to the processor, I would not say you can run XMP 4000 but 3200 or 3600 will work almost always. https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/74guig/noob_question_i5_8400_z370_possible_xmp/ https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/i5-8400-z370-3000mhz-ram.3253880/ https: // linustechtips. com / topic / 912795-i5-8400-with-3200mhz-ram /? tab = comments

  24. Right now yes, cheaper boards are going to come out soon to support it. But yes it is important for me to make clear that there will be no difference in games with 3060ti between these processors unless you are playing esports games or in low settings.

  25. The two options you offered are not ideal. Either go up a notch and buy the 12600 KF or wait a bit for the 12400 and B660 to come out that are supposed to fall exactly into your budget. In any case if the PC for the 11400 games is more lucrative than the 5600 X and the difference in performance with the 3060TI will be 0% in any game that is not E sport and as long as you do not put the lowest settings.

  30. For me, 13.3 has two problems: 1. It is not that easy relative to the screen size. 2. And it's more critical, it has only one charge connection, which is by chance or not also a TB port 4. That is, either charge or use TB 4, or buy a (not cheap) docking station that will connect to TB 4. at 14 Inches both the Acer and the Thinkbook do not have this problem.

  31. No. I wish there were such a price. The E14 laptop, which bears the name Tinkpad next to it, is a base series from the Tinkpad family. It's not that he's now a T series all of a sudden. For that matter - with IDEAPAD you have nothing to look for. The first, https://www.zap.co.il/model.aspx?modelid=1134275 may actually be better than the E14 for the long term. Not by knockout, but because of Lenovo's decision regarding the form of charging the E14. On the other hand, the think tank's battery life is probably a bit shorter.

  32. Because the increase in performance is not significant in relation to price. I mean, it's more than the I7 in modeling (as mentioned, not significant) but still it's not TR in rendering. And everything around (cooling) does not really justify ....

  33. Same laptop with I5 processor. There are of course more options, but without a set budget / preferences, it is difficult to give recommendations. But also doubt if most is needed unless looking for something lighter towards 300kg but at a higher cost.

  34. You do not have to make war against the whole world and if you come to such factors in an attitude of war you will probably get war back. If you want to see if you can get advice or help from one of the relevant parties, contact them, if not then skip. If you want to solve the problem, you will have to put in some effort. If you do not want to put in some effort, you will not be able to solve the problem and it may get worse over time.

  35. There was a CPU variable and of course a motherboard. Z.A. I was there for the AMD TR because Arnold "likes" more cores, and that's what the TR gives, at the expense of the modeling performance, where the core speed is important, and the processor I put in the specs takes big. All ADOBE applications will live in peace and happiness with Intel.

  37. Well, let's get started. I will leave the comments about Lenovo series for others, in the second discussion, although a brief dig in the forum will reveal to you that the topic is quite ground to the ground ... our case has it, with a good screen and everything else is also with an I5 processor in less. Around the same price, there are these - Dell Latitude 5420 I5-1135G7 three years warranty, battery life, business series. Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G2-ITL 20VD003EIV Lenovo ThinkBook 14s Yoga ITL 20WE0001IV These two are also just fine, especially yoga. You will have to scroll through the models because the site does not allow a link to the store and I do not have time to do the acrobatics and bring the links in Zap. Look where the wind is blowing, and we will continue ......

  40. The discussion opens because another computer is required ... joins. You can buy the 10400F and 11400F processors in Israel for less than 700 NIS. 'Throw' a little more on an over priced video card. There is also the option of the used ones. If you must have a wireless then A - recommend a card built into the board and not an expansion card. B - Recommends an AX card and not an AC. As long as the other systems in the house do not work in AX it is not essential but in the future when you have more AX based products you can set up an AX network and it has significant advantages beyond the matter of traffic rate.

  41. Let me tell you what I told you then, the 5600G is not suitable for gaming, it's for someone planning to buy a video card soon and it's a very expensive processor that will not give anything to games in relation to a processor that costs half of it with an external video card. In my opinion the only options that will give an improvement over existing ones are to go up to 4000 and buy a computer with 6600XT or buy a second hand computer, the computer you brought will not give anything more than the computer you have today - the video card built into your processor is the same as the 5600G video card. If you are planning to buy a video card in the future just buy the computer then, because this computer will not give you anything more than the computer you have today (a significant drop in price will probably not be before the end of 2022).

(For someone who mentioned it for some reason) it only works programmatically - unless there is some disruption from the SECURE BOOT? Or what is the TPM?

  43. I understand you to a great extent and can certainly identify with there are just people with a crazy drive for something, and there are some without. I'm of the second type (as you also say) and somehow get along in the meantime. I do not wake up in the morning with thoughts of revolutionary technology, do not deal with it all day and do not go to sleep and dream about it at night. So (among other things) I did not win and I will not get to invent something crazy that will change the world and make me a billionaire. But Drive is not something binary. And I will testify to myself that even though I do not have a super-drive, I still have a little, and I also have a love for the profession. For me it is expressed in the fact that I like to solve problems. I like to take a system, learn it, understand the requirements from it, and how to implement them / improve the system. I definitely feel satisfied when I took something with a bug / glitch and was able to resolve it, or when someone asked to consult with me about something and gave him good advice, which solved his problem. I enjoy identifying things that are missing / not working well enough, and adding / correcting what needs to be done. I enjoy working with people, brainstorming together and coming up with solutions. Do you think you like / will love such things? How do you imagine your work in the world of software development? There is no simple answer here. Let’s just say - in startups you won’t find mediocre people over time - they just can’t afford it. In organized societies - medium / large - I have seen people who are just mediocre and stay both years and until a very old age. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either. Maybe they had a benefit of a kind I did not recognize, or they were just good enough to do specific gray tasks. Just what's the problem with being like that? That it's a risk. If something happens and you still find yourself out there - with a lot of experience, experience that seems significant on paper, but Thcls - does not know much and has not learned much (because you have dealt in some particularly unimportant field that does not require skills development), then suddenly you can Problem finding a job, especially if the mind is no longer flexible enough to learn new things. So - even if you think you can not be a "star" developer or an architect with excellent lateral understanding, you should still be good at something. Maybe project management, maybe people management, maybe working with clients, understanding their needs and how to mediate between them and the engineers. That way you can preserve your value over time. I do not have too much opinion, not about these specific places, because I do not know them. Also know someone who studied in "Rock" and conversations with her - the practical material they teach is quite impressive. It is possible to leave such places with knowledge and abilities that will allow you to develop quite well later, but because this is not an academic degree, it is difficult to find a first job, and you depend on them quite a bit to provide you with the initial placement and opportunity. From what I know, for example, in this period of the corona and the uncertainty - the graduates there are not really kidnapped (on the other hand maybe even fresh university graduates suffer from the same problem, do not know). I also know that these places teach not only ++ C / C and JAVA, but also other languages and new technologies from the world of WEB and the world of UI and the world of graphics. Precisely diversity is not lacking. Looking at the age of a language as a characteristic of its value in the market is utterly incorrect. The question is whether it is used in industry, and both C, + + C and JAVA are still widely used (and this is not going to change anytime soon), simply in different areas from the areas where Python / JAVASCRIPT or something else is used.

If the main purpose of the computer is games then I would go for something like this: https://www.plonter.co.il/priceoffer_shoppingcart.tmpl?PriceOffer=265437 The specification was built in Plonter in Tel Aviv and the specification number is 265437. But you will add more information about which Games and at what resolutions, if you plan to play CSGO in FHD then this is not the ideal specification, but if you want new games at 1440P this specification is significantly better than what you were offered in TMS.
