  1. Anyway, there is something to keep in mind. The so-called smartphone does automatic image processing to make it look the way it does. If you liked it then atone for the phone. This is because it is like a difference between jpg and raw that raw contains much more information but does not undergo color processing and the like like jpg. So on the surface the jpg looks more beautiful when not touched than the raw. On the other hand and here is the most important difference and I will give an example from the world of video. There is a reason why many videographers shoot in a log that on the face of it creates an image that looks gray or brown with no contrast at all and even less contrast than originally. This allows them flexibility that does not exist if they were photographed differently for color grading. So here's another layer of whether the initial result you get on the phone satisfies you or not. Do you want to change or edit or not. As for my image I then always shoot in Nikon and with proper exposure to the sky so I get a dynamic range that provides me to definitely lighten the ground without driving the image quality crazy. So the exposure is to the sky. The photo I uploaded was taken in 2016 on a Nikon D750 with 24-70 2.8g. You will see for example a comparison between a canon r6 with a digital shutter compared to the nikon d780 that I have in a 6 stop lightening from iso 100 which was dark. (In a non-digital shutter the r6 looks a little better, this is to make it easier to see in the forum).
  2. You see, in terms of composition then you can get the same framing on the phone almost accurately. This is usually the most important thing and the difference in visibility between the same composition on the phone and a professional camera will not be large. Maybe a little more optical distortion at the edges and the like. Anyway one thing that will be hard to get is the carpet of shades of green colors here. Although for Instagram and such most people would not notice the difference. Plus minus it is like the argument of ff versus medium format in a wealth of shades. Plus if you want to make a magnification and print in large then it will be significantly more beautiful on camera than on the phone. But again, for most people it does not change. @Milford Cubicle
  3. There are degrees of pixel peeping from a level that is relevant to a level that is a waste of time. Anyway, at the moment with the s21 ultra competing with the iphone 13 plus minus - I do not see image quality approaching what I need.
  4. Look, the demo videos for the iPhone 13 pro max were not shot by my neighbor's grandmother with fluorescent lighting. I guess in the end it is clear that all cameras or smartphones are tools that one needs to know how to use and also know what to shoot and how. It is possible to take good pictures today with any type of camera and it ultimately depends on who is using the camera. In terms of raw material then the quality of the image in terms of pixel peeping is still better on professional cameras.
  5. Whoever takes out his best photos from a smartphone will continue to take pictures on a smartphone. Anyone with a professional camera will continue with it. Whoever is more comfortable with one or the other is his decision per photo.
  6. But again, you're talking about other things. In terms of convenience and time savings and many other things so yes, a smartphone is a great tool and I recommend you have one in your pocket. If you need something a little more than the smartphone allows you, then you will need to go for more professional tools. People can use 2 types of cameras and it is not either this or that. On the other hand for certain uses I would prefer something specific rather than something else. Right now if it's important for you to document the scenery on Grossglockner's high alpine road, you would be thrilled to use the phone and show it to the family. On the other hand if you want to get into a situation where you are selling these photos or participating in competitions like you said - then you will probably use a professional camera. Update: A photo from the area of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road I took.
  7. Still shooting behind screens will require you to put intricate and precise lighting on the characters to match the running background. The difference in the end is how much customer and you require control and accuracy. that's it.
  8. If this is the future then maybe. I'm talking about now. I will give a demonstration that everyone can understand. If you run the "Zoom" software and it takes up most of the background and puts a video of Lake Garda in the back - some of you will be kicked out that you have a Lake Garda background in the back. Does it look realistic Is there no nonsense? probably not. Now the next step in progress is to use a green screen. So the green screen will look less scaly in the burn but on the other hand there might be green ink around your face and some escape between the ends of the hair. Maybe in addition the lighting on you will look completely different and it will create a distance and an unrealistic presentation. But most people will be more bastards than how Zoom made them burn. The next step in the degree of accuracy is to come and shoot in Lake Garda and it will look super accurate without unnecessary artifacts and it will be possible to shoot a movie without a budget of a Hollywood movie that will require advanced editing and it will look realistic because it is in reality.
  9. So look, the phone gives fast and automatic processing and a certain result. But if you or your client needs more control over what you want to get, there is no choice and do it in a way that is more manual whether it is with a professional camera or phone. This control that you may want will depend on your abilities and skills, the conditions in the field, the desire of your customer or yours to receive other processing, and the time you want to invest in it. Those who need more control then will prefer what will give them better quality raw material. Anyone who does not care to get the same results as defined in the algorithms of smartphones then will enjoy them. @Milford Cubicle @ A-10
  10. Look, a camera is a tool for everything. There is a limit to what you can do with it empty-handed. But there are more tools today that allow you countless options with the combination of a professional camera. Whether it's editorial manipulations, additional optical tools and what not. In addition to the "HDR" that the phone does - so maybe he takes a lot of clicks and everything is nice and beautiful and combines them into one automatic image. But professional cameras have a much larger dynamic range that contains much more information and does not require as many frames as the phone may require (although the phone gives an immediate result) and also better results can be achieved with a high dynamic range camera (such as Nikon cameras and the like). So like I said, it all depends on who it is in and what his knowledge is to use all the tools that the modern age gives. In addition a large part of the built-in tools that use AI also exist in commercial software etc and this is not a new thing that phones have invented. While they are leading the way in making it accessible to the whole community. @Milford Cubicle
  11. I did not hear what this camera had to say, I flipped between the bad pictures he took in dslr (same dslr as I have too) and his comparisons on the iPhone which are not much better apart from proper exposure, processing and focus done automatically. What I have to say is that talented photographers will be able to bring out more impressive and respectable things in professional cameras. Mobile devices, on the other hand, have a lower limit on the quality and result that can be obtained and the amount of information that can be edited and many other things. On the other hand, when it comes to phones and the like - people who do not know how to take pictures or do not know how to use professional cameras, lenses, editing software correctly - they will yield better results in the automatic tools that the various iPhones take out. @ A-10
  12. People have a short memory, every generation of smartphones has someone who claims that way. Anyway when you set up excellent and interesting lighting then it does not matter so much what camera you will use. At least not for the average user and it will look good. When you also use narrower lenses to photograph people then it will look better than the lenses that were once the default on phones that were too wide and distorted. In terms of video they have capabilities on paper that are good. In terms of sensor quality then still not there.
  13. So I'll answer that if I'm already up 10 minutes to 4 at night. The answer is no. Not for professional use. The versatility that there is with quality lenses that cost quite a bit and some more than the camera were built to create a certain optical presentation. Among other things as little optical distortion as I can not stand. Although I believe that in future versions the ai of the phones will fix some of them. Right now in the current generations of phones you can see the over-sharpening along with the particularly small pixels in the video. It does not look buttery smooth as it can be seen with equipment and proper use in the professional world. The sensors of the phones currently do not meet the standards of magnifications and fine details and poor lighting conditions. The files and amount of information contained in a raw phone file does not cover the dynamic range of many professional cameras. This means that the files are not too editable without creating different types of artifacts. Anyway, I will say a good word because I can continue until tomorrow to say what is wrong. You can take pictures with a phone and it is convenient. But there is still time for the phones to catch up with the standards that exist in dslr and mirrorless cameras of all kinds. I will just mention that the technological advancement that is taking place in smartphones is much faster than in the world of professional cameras. Again everything is relatively different from generation to generation. @ A-10
  14. What matters is the photographer. In any case, the tools are always advanced and make it easier for the photographers to take pictures and for the photographers' clients. But in theory I also got to meet retirees with medium format cameras that I did not see between what they photographed any difference with what ordinary people photograph with a phone camera.
  15. I will quote Ansel Adams "The single most important component of a camera is the 12 inches behind it."
  16. Well it worked out on its own. It probably took him a while.
  17. I checked both him and others. There is no connection of ipv6 @ ariel007
  18. Update: Get by on your own. Hello, I spoke today with several representatives who each said something a little different about running ipv6. Some said it was supposed to be automatic, some said they activated it on me and some said they would get back to me in 3 more hours. At the moment according to the latest representatives they say they see my ipv6 address although I do not see it anywhere. In terms of special requirements of the vendor no one gave me any information because I kind of probably do not use their router. This is an asus ac86u. With one of the delegates I verified and she says she sees my address when I have Ipv6 native set up. Anyway I do not see such a signal in me. In network adapter settings everything is set and there is no signal. Anyway I also tried to eventually connect the fiber optic adapter straight to the computer and ran a manual dialer to bypass the router and also there is internet but no ipv6. During the process I was also transferred from their dhcp to pppoe mode. So either someone does not understand what to do or there is a certain definition that needs to be defined in a partner that is different from what I expect and I am the one who does not know what to do. Anyone had experience with this?
  19. You did not mean that nvidia is better, you just mentioned that it is better when you said "performance tests" in the air. I also mentioned that the 3070 ti is more powerful and only in certain extreme conditions it can be a problem. Only I have included in the links themselves the same net performance tests in all sorts of models specific to what it needs. Export and playback times in a variety of formats and conditions in Premiere in 4K. @ A-10
  20. Maybe I will complicate your decision more but theoretically the 3070 ti has an advantage in export times and other things like playback rate and more in 4K. But it is in relatively favorable conditions that the amount of vram is sufficient and you do not do too extensive operations. Perhaps the 6800x with 16GB of memory is more future proof for more extreme conditions but will be slower in situations that do not require all the vram. It all depends on the form of your work and also what the future will predict. I do not have a sweeping recommendation and it is difficult for me to give a recommendation. I will attach some links that give a comparison in the premiere on terms that probably do not take advantage of all the vram of both. Since I have no overlapping comparison then I give some comparisons that also show up compared to other video cards. There is a plus-minus detail here on export times in some types of 4k and with extensive effects and without and also the operating rate in frames per second. But not yet extreme situations. In theory all these performance tests in the Premier you can also conduct yourself in the free performance test they give, it is for comparison only with your existing array. They also have a database for viewing by other users who have used their testing software. Good luck @ danielhr99. https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Adobe-Premiere-Pro---AMD-Radeon-RX-6900-XT-Performance-2030/ https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/ Adobe-Premiere-Pro --- NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-3070-Ti-3080-Ti-Performance-2183 /
  21. About the budget has it. And by the way sometimes at night they have more extra deals and there are also all the coupons if you use their app and / or their Telegram coupon. @simpleone
  22. There are more computers around this range with similar amd or new generation processors. If you say you are going to buy only a few more months then there is time. If you are more looking for component upgrades or software modifications - then first of all if you have access to updated versions of Premier then they are much more utilizing system resources than before. So worth updating. There are other programs that depend on how you edit whether they will be faster or all the work on them will be faster or more successful. For example you can always download the free version of Davinci resolve and test it. However, it has become the market standard for color grading. So sometimes someone edits in another software and does the color grading on it. In the free version it is not possible to edit in 4K and there is also no option of working with an entire team, but it does not seem to me that it is related here. As for components it depends on the computer and whether it is possible to upgrade the RAM and the ssd inside it. Will give some breathing space but not much. Some people use a laptop and a box with a desktop video card that connects via thunderbolt for semi-portable video editing. But this is not something I currently recommend even if you have such a connection. If you have such a thunderbolt connection and a powerful desktop video card that you can occasionally remove from your desktop computer, then maybe. But buy everything again less recommend. And regardless, reliable antivirus, updated operating system, updated drivers and software, checking that everything is working properly as it should be and there are no general stability issues in the system. @simpleone
  23. Worth trying to do driver removal as well. Now another question, does this only happen when you use Chrome? Understand if this is not related to the infinite bugs that Chrome has when it uses experimental hardware acceleration without you knowing and there is a reason. @ xtract1
  24. There is something that might be worth a try. I have seen that it has fixed similar issues in some forums. A problem caused by some incompatibility with the drivers of the ethernet network card (not the wifi). Go to Device Manager and find your Ethernet network card there. In many cases it is actually realtek that has all sorts of problems with it, even though it may be and you have something else. Now if you are not using it then do it uninstall and disable and also remove driver. If you do use it then after you delete need to download driver again and install. @ xtract1
  25. I'll try to look for some pattern on the internet that fits all of these things. By and large I could think of such a thing when the computer heats up and reaches certain temperatures and takes the computer a second to slow down and turn on the fan. But because you already replaced a computer then maybe it's not related. You also did not mention any problem on the subject. I also do not know if you are with an updated BIOS, maybe something has been fixed while in the latest updates. @ xtract1
