1. About the budget has it. And by the way sometimes at night they have more extra deals and there are also all the coupons if you use their app and / or their Telegram coupon. @simpleone
2. There are more computers around this range with similar amd or new generation processors. If you say you are going to buy only a few more months then there is time. If you are more looking for component upgrades or software modifications - then first of all if you have access to updated versions of Premier then they are much more utilizing system resources than before. So worth updating. There are other programs that depend on how you edit whether they will be faster or all the work on them will be faster or more successful. For example you can always download the free version of Davinci resolve and test it. However, it has become the market standard for color grading. So sometimes someone edits in another software and does the color grading on it. In the free version it is not possible to edit in 4K and there is also no option of working with an entire team, but it does not seem to me that it is related here. As for components it depends on the computer and whether it is possible to upgrade the RAM and the ssd inside it. Will give some breathing space but not much. Some people use a laptop and a box with a desktop video card that connects via thunderbolt for semi-portable video editing. But this is not something I currently recommend even if you have such a connection. If you have such a thunderbolt connection and a powerful desktop video card that you can occasionally remove from your desktop computer, then maybe. But buy everything again less recommend. And regardless, reliable antivirus, updated operating system, updated drivers and software, checking that everything is working properly as it should be and there are no general stability issues in the system. @simpleone
3. Worth trying to do driver removal as well. Now another question, does this only happen when you use Chrome? Understand if this is not related to the infinite bugs that Chrome has when it uses experimental hardware acceleration without you knowing and there is a reason. @ xtract1
4. There is something that might be worth a try. I have seen that it has fixed similar issues in some forums. A problem caused by some incompatibility with the drivers of the ethernet network card (not the wifi). Go to Device Manager and find your Ethernet network card there. In many cases it is actually realtek that has all sorts of problems with it, even though it may be and you have something else. Now if you are not using it then do it uninstall and disable and also remove driver. If you do use it then after you delete need to download driver again and install. @ xtract1
5. I'll try to look for some pattern on the internet that fits all of these things. By and large I could think of such a thing when the computer heats up and reaches certain temperatures and takes the computer a second to slow down and turn on the fan. But because you already replaced a computer then maybe it's not related. You also did not mention any problem on the subject. I also do not know if you are with an updated BIOS, maybe something has been fixed while in the latest updates. @ xtract1
6. Well if you are willing to stretch the budget a bit, then the thing that will contribute the most is to upgrade the processor to 5800x for example than the 5600x. As for memory there is no point in upgrading in my opinion. As for the video card, then it is not a good time to buy a video card and it is more interesting of 3 weeks. So I would take something that is enough for you for stills, and if you need to make a video more seriously for example then you will consider paying for a video card much more in the future (hoping the prices will be normal and not like today). @photo
7. When needed then there may be a reason to pay for this honey. Ultimately it is a system whose purpose is to enable editing and work and this system will fit. The glass ceiling that can be reached on computer expenses is very high. This system will recoup the investment on it. Paying a few thousand shekels for a small increase in performance for the same purposes will make the return on investment longer.
8. The option called enhance details is a relatively new option that there is really no reason to use. I have never seen the need to use it and like me 99 percent of Leitrum users. Just a heavy action of ai that does not really contribute except to pixel peepers. @ A-10
9. The improvement will be noticeable. 50 images in 40 seconds sounds like an upgrade to me.
10. Just for example, what is puget's database. A similar computer only with a different video card. https://www.pugetsystems.com/benchmarks/view.php?id=47064
11. As a basis, one can look at it. 5669 NIS. Currently on offer the video card is with 4GB which is big enough for working in stills, but will limit with 4k video for example. For some reason ksp did not let me choose the other options of the fans, so I am not quite sure about the size of the fan and if it will block one of the slots of the memories. https://ksp.co.il/t/5ceK5G [img] https://img.ksp.co.il/allimg/lrg16015.jpg [/ img] [b] Computer self-assembly Stationary AMD [/ color] [/ b] AMD processor: [url = https: //ksp.co.il/? 12. I'm with 64 just because I wanted to. I never really needed to and I saw that I was not taking advantage of it. I wholeheartedly believe that it is possible to edit photos even on much cheaper budgets and that is what is happening on the ground. A lot of editors on lower budgets who will also make a significant improvement over what you have. In theory in terms of external video card if you want you do not have to even 1660 mentioned to you before. You can also get by with 1050 or 1650. @photo
13. Familiar with petapixel. They and fstoppers from where the original article (which also took from the YouTube video) and other great style sites always take full guides and random reviews from the web and write a few words about them. Now it's not them either, but people who are allowed to advertise on their behalf and not really part of the team. Quite a few of the articles they publish are pointless and irrational that different photographers publish and put a back link to their site and not the photographer they are talking about. Now back to the article, these are versions from 2019 and since then Leitrum has gone through a lot mainly in terms of performance and multi-core. Like I said I checked with my 64GB of RAM and was only able to get with Leitrum for the utilization of 32GB of RAM and even less than 16 in export that utilizes all the cores.
14. At the end of the day each photographer has their own workflow. But in the extreme case most of the time even if I open more files besides the main file, the other files will have small elements that I work on to insert them into the main image I edit and not monstrous files (my files are much smaller usually regardless). Even when all the export of Leitrum for a full 500-photo session takes me 5 minutes of total export, why would I want to do that while working with Photoshop? Anyway whoever wants can also spend more than 32GB of RAM. In the city where you live? Now is it true that you can live well even with a budget of NIS 60 per month? But will this be the minimum required for a good living?
15. Do not forget that this is a company whose goal is to sell complex systems expensively (with a profit of tens of percent above their value). They write that sometimes 128 GB of RAM will also be needed and also sell Leitrum computers with 128 GB of RAM. And regardless of rtx 3070 this is the minimum they sell for a Leitrum computer without justification even according to their graphs. In short anything they are trying to sell you then you should take on limited bail. A-10
16. I had to do a test to understand and show what it takes to get to 32GB of RAM utilization without the software wanting to save RAM (because they are also able regardless of going to a swap file that I do not have anyway). For this I opened and saved at the same time a 6.6 GB psb file in Photoshop with over 40 layers. I exported 549 24 megapixel raw files in parallel with most of the possible settings, and opened all the pages on my personal site that total about 92 pages full of more than 1000 images (because the site loaded fast so it finished loading all the pages before I had time to download). Then I got to almost 32GB of RAM. So if it is possible to utilize 64 GB of RAM, it is possible. If required anyway for Photoshop, not required in most cases.
17. Well if you can stretch the budget then it is always great and there is nothing wrong with that. In the end slowly it might pay itself back. In fact it's just the same specifications with the addition of a video card. As for adding memory then I would like to note that if you only add 16GB to 48GB - then probably the memories will not work in dual channel. Therefore for maximum bandwidth the jump will be towards 64 GB of RAM and then there will be another addition in the price. @photo
18. As for their recommendation to buy 64GB of Leitrum - so just for this test I did my own test. I took a gallery of a client from Leitrum with all the raw files that all have editing (a global rifle in previous sync and most of the parameters are used there except for proportion and unused stuff) and also this part of the psd files. There were 549 files of 24 megapixel resolution. Exporting them all in maximum quality from raw to jpg took me exactly 5:10 minutes. And here I attach the average use of ram and system. From this you will understand if there is a use of 64 GB in Leitrum.
19. There is a benefit in using an external video card and this is indeed the case without arguing. (Although in the video that a10 presented it completely turned off the video card (using software rendering and not hardware) and not just use a built-in video card that has hardware acceleration capabilities). The question at the end is if it will come at the expense of the total budget of the other components and then it would be a shame. For the spinach developer if there is an option to stretch the budget a bit then you can buy some relatively simple video card from the last few years which was midrange and the like - it will be enough for most things and give you good editing skills in terms of performance. If 5700g were sold in the country then I would even recommend it and save the discussion.
20. There is no real difference with panoramas in Photoshop compared to the raw in Lightroom. They both do both connection, both content aware and stabilization of clarity. By and large it may not have been put to the test, but I have noted here the differences. see picture. The numbers are in seconds at the bottom.
21. Unfortunately the situation is not really encouraging there either. Just for example if we take the discussion of video cards and women aside. Note for example save times. By default, compression is enabled in Photoshop while saving. With compression the retention times on older computers can even reach times like 2 minutes for retention that you might do every 10 minutes. From a test I did in performance monitoring so it only uses one core for compression in save. In most cases to overcome this, first of all you can reduce the amount of colors to 8 bits instead of 16 in cases where there is no editing and manipulation extended, and in addition you can turn off the compression altogether. In such a situation the guarding will be done within about 3-5 seconds. As one who saves every few minutes, then it's significant.
22. The truth is unrelated and it may be a place for another discussion that already exists in every overseas photography forum. But Adobe has not done enough to improve performance except in recent years that there are buds to it. It's starting to take more advantage, but only for certain modules. Now because you said portraits and compare to uses like panoramas, so because I also take pictures of landscapes and know how it works, I will also show the differences in time between editing a panorama between a built-in video card without any hardware acceleration (even possible) And 3090.
23. Show me I also went out "once" to work with built-in when I edited on the go. But the CPU was also weaker. So the experience was not something. But here with the same array the differences that a video card will contribute are very small relatively. Compared to a sample processor that contributes more in these programs. I showed the numbers in the pictures and the measurement there is in seconds. When for the segment I compared an old computer to my current computer then for example I saw a difference of several times in the export times. This is very significant. This was a difference between the export times of 500 raw images edited to a 24 megapixel jpg in less than 5 minutes compared to the same thing in almost an hour on an old computer. Here of course time is an important and significant factor. But for example in most use of Editroom and Photoshop edits the difference between a built-in video card with the same system is almost non-existent and sometimes there is a plugin that is used once or a few times where it is a difference of a few seconds and not something that slows down the whole use or editing experience. There will always be a reason why you should buy and upgrade. It's a question of budget management priorities.
24. Some things. The 1660 is not such a worthwhile upgrade if you think that maybe the 3060 will drop to a similar and reasonable price. The 3060 for example is much better for video a few notches above. Now for a system that only drags then that is not the case. It will be a system that can be used for fun, though not for games or 1660D editing. Of course you should upgrade to a video card especially for other needs but I think the 1660 is just a waiver because now the prices are not realistic for much more advanced video cards. If the spinach developer would want to buy the 2 and then sell the video card and upgrade then maybe that's an option. As for times and how much it is a factor, I will attach XNUMX sample screenshots from what I attached earlier. This will give an indication as to how much time is actually saved and whether it is worth the money. There are time measurements here.
25. I may have misunderstood what the quote implies. Anyway I attached in a previous picture exactly how much it affects all kinds of filters compared to different video cards. In practice a basic external video card can contribute a little to these needs, but it's a question of whether there is a real need for an upgrade at the moment or whether it will be used for other things. In any case, 1300-1600 shekels is not a bit of money and if it will be a noticeable and worthwhile upgrade, it depends on whether he still needs it. As for the puget site then atone for them, they give you a free performance test and statistics that do not exist anywhere else.
