  1. Hey @ Moon-Mage. From which specification store did you send? I searched in a few stores and did not find the prices in the specification: X I searched on Amazon and Newegg, it seems the prices are the same. Even more expensive overseas. Still stands out between the 5800X and the 5600X. What do you think?
  2. Thank you so much @ Moon-Mage, the layman's question, assuming I go for the 5600X, isn't it better to squint in the direction of the i5-10400F? I saw that they are quite close in performance and the difference in price is quite significant unless I miss something? I will try, hope to find good deals. The 5800X was the direction for me. According to Steinberg, the requirements for the processor are: "Intel Core i series or AMD Ryzen multi-core" and currently I am with i7 2600K and I get along. So I guess both the 5600X and the 5800X will be a significant upgrade for me. Thanks again!
  3. Hi @ Moon-Mage, it seems relevant now to bounce the thread I would love recommendations. Thanks in advance
  4. @Moon-Mage, thanks so much for the comment. I will wait for the new models to come out and max out the thread.
  5. Hello everyone, on the occasion of the upcoming Black Friday promotions and the new models that are coming out, I would be happy to help focus on the specifications for a computer for gaming and editing (music) needs. Questionnaire: 1. What is the maximum budget? Is an exception possible if necessary? 4000-8000 but there is no set budget and less relevant, more focused on the specification that will serve me for the future. 2. What computer uses (games, graphic editing, office work, HD content for example), has a specific game or software example? Gaming (mainly FPS games, for example: COD, BF, etc. but also RDR2 & Co., in high settings) and music editing (Cubase, FL Studio). 3. Is there a need for peripherals (for example: keyboard, mouse, speakers and screen)? No. There is a 27 "screen model: Asus PG279Q and will be upgraded to a 4K screen. 4. Is there a basic component that does not need to be included in the specification? (E.g. SSD drive that already exists and can be attached for assembly) SSD drive (There is a new modular supplier Model: Seasonic SS-750AM - Active PFC F3), Case (Existing: Fractal Design R5) 5. How important is the quiet operation of the computer? Very important. Currently with AC Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 cooling combined with The case - very satisfying. 6. Is there a limit or preference for the physical size of the computer and its weight, lights, etc.? Not relevant. No. 7. Is there a preference to purchase the computer from a specific store? If it is not possible to specify a residential area as well. 8. When is the purchase of the computer planned (it is highly recommended to request a specification shortly after the purchase)? Black Friday 9. Are there any special requests regarding ports and connections (e.g. USB Type-C or FireWire)? Not beyond the basic connections today (USB10, Type-C, etc.). A dedicated FireWire card will be connected but I will manage with the purchase and will not be part of the budget. 3. Is it important to maintain a computer upgrade horizon? Yes 11. Additional notes, extended detail and miscellaneous: Looking to focus on the purchase of: CPU + cooling, motherboard, memory (12-32GB) and video card. I have no specific preference for Intel or AMD, looking for a specification that will serve me for years to come while maintaining an upgrade horizon. For example, my current specs are: i64-7K (OC), with 2600GB of memory and a 16GTX video card that has been doing its job faithfully since 1070 and is designed to continue working in a different format. Hope I did not forget anything ^^ I am less into matters than before so hope it is not too early to focus on the specifications before the new models are coming out. Thank you!
