  1. Hello, the video card in my nephew's computer has passed away and he wants a new one. Which card can replace it properly without the computer being a bottleneck? Nvidia card has priority. Card that died: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X OC 3GB GDDR5 Computer specifications: Intel Core i5-4590 3.3 GHz 3.7Ghz Turbo LGA1150 Asus B85M-G for 1150 Hynix DDR3 8GB 1600 Also he wants to add another 8gb memory stick, will it be useful? The computer is designed for gaming. Thank you!
  2. Hello dear forum. Unfortunately I am no longer really up to date regarding today's hardware and therefore asking for your help. This is a computer for a smart kid in second grade on the autistic continuum. The father insists on the "best there is" computer within the budget, which will be relevant for several more years and which will leave various options open (perhaps graphics, etc.), it is important to him that the computer runs fast and does not get stuck. I know such a budget is supposed to be above and beyond, but so he insists, he has no understanding of computers. He is interested in the next specification that will cost him about NIS 5000 in Eilat. Can you compete with him? Intel Core i7 10700 2.9Ghz 16MB Cache s1200 - Tray Arctic Freezer 12 CPU Cooler MSI Z490-A PRO LGA1200, Intel Z490, DDR4, 2xP
  3. Like I said, the boss does not recognize the ssd in the botanical order. How do you check that ahios are buffered? I do not think there is a possibility of changing it. If you see this setting in the photos I've added, I'd love to hear. What kind of definition is that? The definition I spoke about appears in the picture I have attached, and it has a definition in which something can be changed. I think you can only see details about the drive or something.
  4. There is no such possibility of switching between situations. This is a HP netbook, but I think the BIOS is more limited than a desktop computer.
  5. Legacy support appears as disabled, so I assume it is set to uefi. You can see in the picture that I have attached that the Windows boot manager only recognizes the Hardisk (the line with the wdc ... that is the Hardisk), and no other line of ssd appears there.
  6. Trying to help my brother. It has an hp laptop with hd installed on it windows. A computer man added ssd to it (there is room in the laptop for both hd and ssd) on which Windows is also installed. The computer worked just fine for a few days while running the ssd windows. Now he says that the computer suddenly decided to boot back through the hd and run on the previous windows. The problem with the ssd bios is not on the uefi bot priority list, only the hd. But for example in the uefi device configuration menu it is found, along with the hd, which means it is somehow identified. He tried to boot from usb with a windows installation, and he says that in the ssd partition menu is found but it is painted gray and cannot be selected at all.
