  1. So I made a leap of faith and ordered a June 5 from eBay at a price of 1275 Canadian dollars / 3270 shekels / 998 US dollars. It was the link, a second hand computer but no signs of use, in addition it has only come out in the last six months ALT so I am quite optimistic. Given the condition of the mobiles in the country and the high prices from abroad, what do you think about this purchase? Too optimistic or a good deal? In addition, on a more technical issue, since the computer is second-hand and not really a new product, may I not have to pay tax on entering the country?
  2. As long as eBay / Amazon charge in advance for the taxes there is no longer any payment that is supposed to "surprise" the buyer, right? Are you talking about shipping companies that ship products from the US to the country when the original network does not ship?
  3. I also saw this deal and unfortunately it raised the price by a hundred dollars ...
  4. Unfortunately the operation that was supposed to be for 24 hours survived only 6 hours.
  5. Yes unfortunately the operation stock runs out very quickly. Was supposed to stay for 24 hours and in the strong awning only about 7.
  6. Dropped to a base price of $ 850, including $ 1,100 taxes which is $ 3,735. Floor price for such a mobile.
  7. So among my wanderings on Amazon I saw that this mobile is offered at a price of $ 850 (compared to 999 base price), excluding taxes and shipping will cost $ 1,109.02 which is 3,735 NIS. I think it's a joke price for such a computer, I'm really debating whether to buy now or wait any longer for Black Friday. Say?
  8. I also kept an eye on this mobile. Note that including shipping cost and taxes its price reaches $ 1270 or about NIS 4400. Still a great deal in my opinion but I'm not very stressed out on a mobile at the moment so I'm personally yes waiting for Black Friday.
  9. As a new student, of course one of the first things I deal with when moving apartment is home internet. Unfortunately in my building there is no fiber optic infrastructure because of any company so I had to look for suppliers on copper cables. From all the phone calls I made and what I did not find out, I came to the insight that a provider package + infrastructure of 100 megabytes or more that includes a WiFi router will cost me at least NIS 80 per month (at best). Following a post I saw on Facebook I started thinking about using an old phone in favor of cellular internet as an access point to a home. I connected my cellphone to the computer using a USB 2.0 cable and did a speed test but the results are dismal. 5 MB download and 2 upload, with the phone showing a 4G connection. Is there a cellular network that can reasonably support 2 computers that make zoom calls throughout the day (including students) and 2 mobile phones? If not, are there any recommendations for an internet package that will deliver the goods in good quality and at a reasonable price?
  10. The truth is that the IdeaPad 5 with the Reisen processor really would have looked too good to be true and indeed it has simply disappeared from the web and there is no online store that can be purchased from it. Really sad. I saw on Amazon the Legion 5 in the AMD version including Windows 10 at a reasonable price. Including shipping and taxes $ 1295 which is about 4400 shekels. I have not found a version without Windows that might save a few hundred but still in relation to what can be found in the country it seems to me a lucrative deal. I will join a link and would love if anyone would look to see if I just missed something that makes it the least lucrative. Link
  11. So basically the only option to get a mobile with an affordable AMD processor is to order from abroad?
  12. 1. What is the maximum budget? Is an exception possible if necessary? About 5500-6000 NIS. 2. What is the use of the computer (games, graphic editing, office work, HD content for example), there is a specific example of a game or software? Mainly be a computer for studies but will also be able to run games on Med-High and occasionally Also FHD video editing (or 4K if possible) 3. Is the peripherals needed (for example: keyboard, mouse, speakers and screen)? Not required 4. Is there a basic component that does not need to be included in the specification? (Eg an existing SSD drive and possible Attach for assembly) No. 5. How important is the quietness of the computer operation? It is important to be quiet in office activities, there is no problem that it makes noise during game / video editing. 6. Is there a limit or preference for the physical size of the computer and its weight, lights, etc.? Minus 15. Is it necessary to include an operating system / office (if so, it is advisable to specify a preferred version) and / or to assemble a computer in the store? No. 7. Is there a preference to purchase the computer from a specific store? If it is not possible to specify a living area. It is also possible to purchase in Eilat 8. When is the purchase of the computer planned (it is highly recommended to request a specification shortly after the purchase)? No. 9. Is it important to maintain a computer upgrade horizon? No. 10. Additional notes, extended detail and miscellaneous: no. I saw on the Internet the Legion 11 of Lenovo and the Omen 12 of HP that look like pretty successful models but I did not find similar models with AMD processors in stores in the country, are there only Intel models?
  13. I'm waiting for us to transfer existing games in ORIGIN to the STEAM account.
  14. Right, for some reason without a registered user it appears as if there is no shipping to the country but once I logged into that account it worked out
  15. It says that the triple package is not shipped to Israel
