  1. I bought a new and up-to-date router, and now it's time to replace Bezeq's modem. Requirements: - Faber supports. - Does not have to include a router. Even better not if it improves the quality of the product (as noted, the router already has). Prefer to replace separately rather than the same product every time. I guess you can also order something cheap Chinese that will carry it. I super trust the security level I have in a router that will connect to it and so on. Please your help 3>
  2. Hi I wanted to ask what is the difference between a charging socket (relatively large) and those that plug into a socket and look like a socket themselves and are relatively very cheap and small (about 30-50 NIS). I am interested in equipping the house before the summer. Last year there were a few falls and today the house is equipped with new electrical products (stationary computer, air conditioner, oven, TV, laptops) Will a small one be enough for a stationary computer to which several devices are connected? For Samsung 65 '' TV?
  3. I got tired of Bezeq's tin router, and decided to buy a new home router and configure it myself - I started doing research and got really lost. My budget is around 500 NIS (a little more, a little less) - if the budget is not realistic then please I would love to know. Most of the use of the house is streaming on TV (Netflix and my home Plex media server), surfing the youtube internet, and so on. My partner and I use heavy internet and work remotely with the internet. Not gamers. In terms of requirements (from the most important to the least important): strong reception range and the ability to hold several connections at the same time (smart TV and air conditioner lights - at the moment, they will probably be added more). I do not yet have optical fiber but will soon - so a router that will support fiber optic speed (1-2G?) Good security and long-term hardware updates (as much as possible) if there is a router with smart home features - then it could be interesting and I would love to understand What does it actually include and whether is it worth the investment. A router that will last a long time and not get old too quickly, that I can sell at a reasonable price after two or three years and renew with a more progressive one. What I found so far: It seems to me that the best I have found is the Tp-Link ARCHER AX50 AX3000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 around 500 shekels but its security is quite outdated (fix me if I am wrong), and not so much where to buy it in the country. There is the Xiaomi Mi AloT AC2350 R2350 router for 300 NIS. I understand he's supposed to be fine and with smart home features, but I have trust issues with this company. And it also seems to me that his absorption is not amazing at all. I realized that ksp have become McDonalds (and for that matter they claim that the modems on the site at a 50% discount that I regret) so where is it recommended to purchase hardware?
  4. They = idigital? The ownership was transferred to me by the user. The previous one is with Amirim. And I have the invoice
  5. Hi. I have a Mac Pro 16 2019 computer that was bought second hand about a month ago, and was bought new by its previous owner less than a year ago from Amirim Distribution. The physical condition of the computer is perfect, and its hardware condition is perfectly normal (I ran every possible test). I was wondering if there is any company that provides some kind of hardware warranty that seems to me the most important. - I checked Amirim Distribution's warranty, and the only option I have is actually their VIP + - which only includes pickup to Apple's legacy repair lab and a replacement computer - which is less relevant to me (I'm not a business or anything like that) - not including repair costs. - I checked with iDigital: not only can I not exercise a warranty because the computer is second hand, the extension of the warranty in front of them can only be done after two months from the moment of purchase of the computer. And, that their liability does not include any physical damages at all. So that in front of them is lost and also irrelevant. I know there are all sorts of other private companies, some licensed and some not, that give warranty or "insurance" to Apple's expensive devices. I was wondering where you insure your computer if at all. Or where it is recommended to do so which includes physical fixes / replacements / etc. And if there is no such service - where is it recommended to repair a bottle and what is the price range (screen repairs, battery replacement, internal / external memory, etc ... everything you know will help me understand what the expenses might be for me).
  6. Hi then I found out that you can change DNS to a better one like Google's or CLOUDFLARE and I was wondering how you can do it in Bezeq's interface (can't find anything on the network) * without damaging network settings (I have a NAS server connected to LAN cable and configured to work according to IP 192.168.14. X and according to this video - as soon as I change to CUSTOM and enter 1.1.1.1 + 1.0.0.1 or 8.8.8.8 + 8.8.4.4 I can not browse any site. Computer / machine? I was wondering if I could find help here.
  7. It seems to me that eBay is really the best option https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fsrp=1&_nkw=mother+board+ddr3+LGA1155&_sacat=0&_from=R40&LH_TitleDesc=0&Brand=ASUS|GIGABYTE&rt=nc&Number 20Memory% 20Slots = 20 & _dcat = 4 How do I actually choose a board that will fit my processor? And if already buy, how do I choose the best of the old ones that will fit what I currently have. Do you have a recommendation for something specific from there that might be perhaps the HIGH END (as much as possible lol)
  8. One of my motherboard slots was destroyed so I could not use the 32G I bought in full unfortunately. I was wondering if there is how to get a new motherboard that will support 4 slots of DDR3 RAM and not fall to the level of the current one.
  9. 1. What is the maximum budget? Is an exception possible if necessary? 8K is better not to exceed because it is full anyway. 2. What is the computer useful? Programming 3. Is there a need for peripherals in addition to a computer? No. 4. Is there a basic component that does not need to be included in the specification? No. 5. How important is quiet computer operation? Not a factor. Moderately. Just so there will be no washing machine. 6. Is there a limit or preference for the physical size of the computer and its weight, lights, etc.? Physical weight and size are not a factor. 7. Is it necessary to include an operating system / office (if it is advisable to specify a preferred version) and / or a computer train in the store? Uses Linux Diaspora, so even better to come without an operating system so as not to pay extra. 8. Is there a preference to purchase the computer from a specific store? Mauser Tel Aviv but mobile to the central area. Preferably a store that will give a good warranty. 9. When is the purchase of the computer planned? Up to two months from today. 10. Are there any special requests regarding ports and connections (e.g. USB Type-C or FireWire) or overclocking? No. 11. Is there any peripherals that will be connected? Just a keyboard and mouse screen that already exists. 12. Additional notes, extended detail and miscellaneous: I know that my budget is very high in relation to the requirements, it is important for me to note that I am looking for a durable and reliable computer at the cheapest price. Suppose, in the last 10 years the LENOVO G500 has served me amazingly and it cost 2K at the time. It is recommended that the computer contain 32GB of RAM with an expansion option in the future (if there is one today). At least a 500GB SSD (preferably NVMe if it came for laptops as well). Really I do not need more than that, but I would love to unite with a board that will allow a respectable expansion over 500 GB good processor (important!) I7 + (I really do not matter in terms of processors). A board that contains a graphics card or in addition to a reasonable graphics card board that supports 4K and carries basic animation of modern operating systems. Screen size does not really matter, just do not make it too small. Gimmicks like touch screen etc. do not speak to me. So one can completely ignore this option and others. Not Mack.
  10. Hi I got the same quote for the two beats I mentioned in the title. Is a link I found that makes the comparison https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/ba1212ccd1 I wondered what the difference is and what to choose considering I mainly use TV for movies (Netflix / direct connection from PC / Flex) from what I understand Samsung has better support In terms of colors (frc) but on the other hand TCL has support for dolby I got it right? What should you choose?
  11. I have moved to a new apartment and I want to start inquiring about living room TV. The criteria are: Smart TV (I do not care if it is Android or not, the main thing that will support Netflix, PLEX, VPN services, etc.). 4K 65-75 inches with a cost of up to 4500 roofs - can not go beyond that, unless it is an extra 100 shekels. As for the living room itself: the distance of the sofa from the TV is about 2 meters, but no more. In terms of lighting - shutters can be closed so that it is not a factor for me, when even so most of the time watching TV is in the evening. From my experience, brands for such products work really great, LG, SAMSUNG, SONY etc. My parents have an amazing LG that today is worth about 2500 for that matter but not sure if 4K. What to avoid? What to check for on TV before purchasing (especially in terms of screen technology). Are there specific models that you are recommended? Is there a reason to wait a little longer before purchasing because a significant price drop is expected soon? The price of the XIAOMI is terribly winking (significantly cheaper than budget and would be useful for buying another electrical accessory for the home) and I was wondering what people here are thinking about it. I was about a year and a half ago in their store in Dizengoff Center - and in my life I do not know if it's the video quality of the TV itself or of the file that was broadcast - which was really horrible compared to other screens on display, so I wanted to get more opinions on the matter.
  12. Do you have any idea how to roll it out? Or what exactly to look for on YouTube?
  13. I have a Bezeq router (Router A) that connects to a Bezeq socket in the wall. A Bezeq router (A) is connected to a TP-LINK (private) router (router B) with a network cable directly. I connected an old computer with the FREENAS (home media) operating system to the Router B directly also with network cable. So correct me if I'm wrong, but basically what happens is that router B and everything that sits on B is a subnet under router A. My computer is connected in WIFI to router B and I can see my sharing folder, since the NAS server is connected directly to the same router (B ). My partner's computer is connected to Router A via WIFI and cannot see the sharing folder. I am not a system man, so my knowledge is a bit limited theoretically and I would be happy for your help. How do I get Router B to share files with computers on Router A? (Currently no option to physically move the NAS server near Router A). The NAS server on router B for that matter sits on 192.168.0.100 and when I look at the settings of router A it sits on 192.168.14.20 Thank you very much!
  14. I am looking for a video card that supports 4k, not high end, no more than 700 NIS that can be run cs: go with a minimum of at least 2 HDMI inputs. Is it worth waiting a little longer for prices to drop?
