  1. Do not want 4K, certainly not about 27 inches and currently do not want bigger than that. By the way, do not forget that for gaming in 4K I will have to spend a lot more money on computer specs to get an FPS that will take advantage of the refresh rate of the screen. Looking for a 1440P with at least 144Hz that will be perfect in all respects, that will also cost 4-5, as long as it is justified I am interested.
  2. Has not yet started selling in the country. For me, the price is not so critical, a thousand NIS here or there is negligible in my opinion when buying a screen once a decade.
  3. I also kept an eye on him. Waiting for there to be some more reviews on it and another screen that interests me a lot: Alienware AW2721D
  4. If you do not have a calibrator (example below), the effort is probably unnecessary, and you will not be able to achieve good results, as I have already written:
  5. Obviously they do not think this is a problem, they even gave him a score of 10 on it. You need to understand that each screen is flickering, the question is at what speed, or more accurately at what frequency. When the jitter is very fast, a human eye cannot notice it so it is called "flicker-free". It's not clear to me why the guy there claims he had eye pain from using the screen. Basically it could also be just too high a brightness or something, and could even be that it fell on a screen with a manufacturing defect. You will always find bad reviews on such products, from large manufacturers that are sold all over the world in quantities.
  7. Are you talking about ViewSonic Elite XG270QG? Not at the level of Dell and MSI. Should give good value for the price, but somehow in Israel its sales are very high, over 3000 NIS. Not bad, I prefer the meager: 20-vs-dell-s2721dgf / 8317/16485
  8. I would not assume such a thing before I would check about that specific product you want to order.
  9. Basically this is an American site, but the product may be right for you anyway. Suggests you send a message to the seller or check the specific version well according to the part number. However, keep in mind that you will probably receive an American power cord.
  10. For all those interested, after an in-depth examination it turns out that MSI is not bad at all and even quite surprised me in relation to its technical data that appear on the MSI website. It turns out to be a bit faster than the echelon, not significantly and in my opinion not in a way that can be seen with the eye, black color is better than the echelon, higher brightness than the echelon (even though its technical data says otherwise), so far the advantages over the echelon. In terms of cons compared to Dell, Dell has support for both G-Sync and Free-Sync, and MSI only officially supports G-Sync. MSI comes with color calibration not something at all, for those who have a color calibrator can overcome this drawback, for those who do not it is in my opinion a very significant drawback. As for DP connections, MSI has a 1.2 and a 1.4 difference. Another thing, MSI is currently available in stock in the country compared to the Dell which in most of the world is currently out of stock, but the price of the Dell is slightly lower. My conclusions: For those who have a color calibrator, there is room for deliberation between Dell and MSI. For those who do not, I see a clear advantage for the poor. In addition, anyone who thinks there is a chance in the future to plug in an AMD video card is better off because of the lack of support for MSI Free-Sync. For example, I plan to upgrade my computer in the coming months, so I would like to keep the AMD card option to myself. So, I'm with the poor right now.
  11. It is more expensive than the Dell, without free-sync support, only a 1.2 1.4 DP connection (and not 300 as a Dell), lower brightness than the Dell (400 vs. XNUMX) and I have not found quality reviews on it to know what its actual performance level is.
  12. כתוב שם שהוא לא מיועד לשימוש מתחת למים אבל ברור לך שזה סתם כסת"ח?
  13. I'm sure that when I have hardware capable of outputting 240FPS at 1440P, I'd already prefer a 4-30 inch 40K screen with ~ 170FPS. But it's just me ..
  14. The only consideration that keeps me from going for 4K is that I will later have to pay dearly for hardware that will be powerful enough so that I can exhaust the screen and enjoy the high refresh rate. Besides that I have been good for 27 years with 1440 inches 240P and I do not lack sharpness. I've never played at 144 Hz, but it seems to me that above 144 it's already unimportant. Above 144 Hz I do not believe I will notice the differences. XNUMX seems to me as smooth as reality. Just an unnecessary gimmick in my opinion. In the category in question. If you want good HDR performance you should consider VA ..
  15. I came to the conclusion that from the IPS gaming category with HDR support, the Dell beats them all in performance, and even in price and ergonomics. If you already ordered the gigabyte (I guess you meant the M27Q), honestly, I do not think an average person or even a gamer will notice such a minor difference in performance, of a few milliseconds of seconds here or there. What's more, the screen you ordered is 8bit and not 10bit like the Dell and like some of the others mentioned here so far, and it also does not support G-Sync but only Free Sync. The Dell supports both so this is a very big advantage for me.
  16. A. Feel free to order from abroad if you find a good deal. B. You also have the OnePlus 8T + 5G
  17. Thanks, I know. I checked in depth and lean faster and with a more advanced panel. Same as for: ASUS XG279Q MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD Lenovo Legion Y27q-20
  18. In my opinion Samsung Galaxy S20 FE meets your requirements.
  19. Hello friends, I decided to buy a new screen, and after much thought and quite a bit of "research" on the existing screens on the market, I came to the dilemma between 2 screens (Dell S2721DGF or Samsung Odyssey G7 27). My uses are first and foremost work (reading and writing a lot of text), but also gaming when there is time for it (but when there is time, I want to enjoy it as much as possible of course). What deters me on Samsung is the matter of viewing angles. I have been working with IPS screens for many years and am very accustomed to this panel, and do not know if the transition to VA will be convenient for me. I will mention that I use the screen alone, which means that there are no more people looking at the screen from the side. In addition, the screen is convex, which reduces the viewing angles relative to the viewer. In terms of gaming performance, it's clear that I'll enjoy Samsung more also because of the more impressive HDR performance, and also because it's slightly faster. On the other hand, there is the meager, the more solid, which makes me feel more confident, but also less exciting and special. The big question is whether I will be more comfortable working on the Dell, or whether I will be very comfortable on the Samsung as well. In terms of price it is not really critical to me. Once in 5-10 years, spending a few hundred shekels more is not what will change my mind. The top priority is a screen that I will enjoy and be happy with. I would be very happy for your opinion on the matter. Thanks in advance.
  20. I have been looking for a few days to purchase the device in question (Oppo Find X2 Pro), the problem is that I can not find a store that sends the international model (Global Rom + Factory Unlocked) to Israel. If anyone has accidentally ordered the device from abroad or knows an online store that can be trusted, and they have the above device, I would be happy to help. Thanks in advance.
  21. Petah Tikva area. Seeing identical results at 95 percent. The cable probably has a higher performance, but like I said, a 1-2ms difference from Ping, in terms of upload, makes no difference at all, and in terms of download maybe 5 percent more cable if any.
  22. Lol but I just explained to you that this is not the case. SSID is different between each device and each frequency. ZA 2 devices, 4 different SSID. And the wifi is not weak at all. My reception is excellent and in quick tests I get the same result for a cable connection. Thanks anyway. Maybe I'll try the gaming package that Bezeq International offers now.
  23. I understand, and I do it when there are repeated glitches. In 99 percent of the times, the result is the same between the wireless computer and the wireless one. The first Dlink is configured to be the "main" router called it, with NAT and DHCP, to which I concatenated the second Dlink. Partner's router I have only functions as a modem. The two Dilink each have a different SSID, and each frequency is also different in the SSID. I don't know about the channel tests. At the time when I bought them, I tried to play with the channels a bit and choose the channel that gives the best performance. To my best it's 6, but I can't remember anymore. However, it doesn't seem so relevant to me because the disconnections also happen on a computer directly connected to the modem. I was also in International Bezeq + Bezeq and Bhutant + Hot, each of Bendel worse than the next, and the latter worse than the first. But in general you are right, when you call the technical service to report a problem, they cannot wave you and tell you that it is the infrastructure. But in any case they would not solve the problem for me, just spend more time with them on the line.
  24. 1. I used it as a modem only on lightning infrastructure. 2. Two such (two-story house and therefore one per floor): 3. Network card for stationary computer: https: //www.asus. com / Networking / PCE-AC88 / I do cable testing often, what I get on cable is the same at 95% what I get on wireless, even in terms of ping there is almost no difference (1-2ms). But it varies, for example I can do a morning test, get 150/4 and do another test in the evening and get 30 / 0.5. But what bothers me more is the disconnects and the instability and not the speed. No. I know exactly what is needed and when. Also keeps track of client lists in the router, and when I check I usually disable all devices and processes in the background. That's exactly what I'm doing right now with Partner Infrastructure of Hot Infrastructure. When I was in Bezeq infrastructure I didn't need any equipment from the supplier, I had my modem and router. I really don't think there is a router in the world that will solve the problem for me. I've tried so many nonsense (including vectoring routers or whatever you call it (like TP-Link TD-W9970)) Have you seen what equipment I have today and it doesn't help that much. No wireless reception problem as you may already understand. Also on the computers that are connected to the wires already configured and it really helped a little in my opinion. It means that I will have to pay for both a package in the Bezeq infrastructure and a package in the Hot (and maybe Sim) infrastructure, but I may be so frustrated by the situation I would like to think about it. However, I no longer know if the web junk I currently have is better. Thanks so much for answering!
  25. I live in a small community in the center, and I have always experienced Internet failures very often. At certain times even on a daily basis. I tried everything on my mind, bought high-end devices (routers, network cards ..), switched Internet providers and experimented with both Bezeq and Hot (unfortunately there are no other infrastructures in my locality). Today I am in a package of 200/5 through Partner on Hot infrastructure and of course the Internet is still working poorly. And when I say poorly, I mean instability (disconnections and lots, long periods of time where the internet is very slow, etc.) and also a very high ping that manifests in online games and video / audio calls on the network. Yesterday for a few hours the situation was so bad: so I thought about 2 options I have not yet tried, and wanted to consult to understand if the experience was worth my time at all. The first is a cellular data inert. That means buying some 4G LTE router for $ 200-300 and a streak with an unlimited internet package from one of the cellular networks. Because wireless routers are not lacking, and as I have very high-quality and fast equipment.) In recent days I have tried to do quick tests from my mobile device (do not know how informative, because a mobile router must have a stronger reception), I found that I can get in the area - 70/30, and maybe even more so with a mobile router that has a stronger reception than a mobile device. The question of how the Internet will perform in terms of performance (Fin , Stability, etc.). I thought the second option to try is marketed packages Bezeq gamers these days plus $ 10 per month. There is hope in me that it might be something that could improve the situation, but from a mission I do not understand at all, I would love to ask if you think it is worth something, or if there is someone in the forum who uses this package of theirs and can share their experience. I would be very happy for any opinion and help. @Cheif and especially your opinion on the matter.
