First of all let's check if your system is suitable for the OC and whether you should consider the enclosures you have.

What's your spec? It is best to include everything including a case, Case, Processor and exact models of approx. Screen and power supply.

Plus, why would you want to do OC? To improve performance? What are your uses?

 

If you have the time and power then everything can be learned from YouTube and you can also perform an easy OC using software or built-in functions on the motherboard without too much understanding.

Unsuccessful Overclocking can cause a crash ie to make a sudden risperate with or without a blue screen. 
Or it can be stable but brings the CPU / card to high temp.

If you did And if you have not had these two symptoms you can be calm 
Provided you have not raised the tension too much.
