Consultation on studies

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,
I wanted to consult about academic studies.
I would like to take a degree in college computer science.
The college has the option to make elective courses - the question which elective courses are most worthwhile to do
There are elective courses on the subject of .
What I wanted to ask was whether to choose this course, and what options I had to engage in the field later.
Because most of the degree is in programming. What does the Corsi really give me?
It's important to me to say that I studied a course in front of the army - which I did not really invest in, by the way, of a technician and a manager . And have a certificate of pc technician + networks.
I do not work in the field and I have no experience. Like I said I did not invest much in this area.
So I go back and ask if the degree I will do in Computer Science with the Corsi choice of networks (maybe there is 3 or 4) will be able to help me in the network - maybe work as a manager And if I can not get into real programming jobs. Or is it just a small touch in the field and not something serious?
And in general, there are also elective courses in information security. What does it give to those who do them? Can he enter the realm of information security? I find it hard to believe ...
If not then which elective courses do you recommend me to study?
Are there any people who have completed such a degree and went to work as network administrators?
