7 does not have new versions, only a distribution at the "Finishing" level:

Starter

Home Basic

Home Premium

Professional

Ultimate

Don't see a reason to move from one to another unless you are really missing features that are only available in the advanced versions.

7 has stopped updating with new features as early as January 2015, and in January 2020 stops receiving updates .

Anyway don't see why you can't switch to 10 windows, no reason. Mostly not a problem A video card usually has other things.

Is there a reason you avoid a clean install?

Truth I have not tried at all because I came across horror posts that the computer stopped working and had to reinstall ..

And it doesn't really bother me to continue with 7 ..

The problem is that these shit ceases to support now.

Details:
There is a problem with the Intel® HD Graphics 3000 drivers in particular.

Also, it depends on the manufacturers. For example I have And they chose not to spend To support 10 in the 2015 she came out with. (It's only 4 years after buying the mobile)

But the weird part is that both Intel and me Apparently, drivers have issued:

I got another hard drive so I will try and move my whole system to another disk and try to install it (so I can quickly get back to 7 and the working system)
