Windows 7 on older computers -

Second Edition

Recommended Posts

7 does not have new versions, only a distribution at the "Finishing" level:

Home Basic

Home Premium

Don't see a reason to move from one to another unless you are really missing features that are only available in the advanced versions.

7 has stopped updating with new features as early as January 2015, and in January 2020 stops receiving updates .

Anyway don't see why you can't switch to 10 windows, no reason. Mostly not a problem A video card usually has other things.

Is there a reason you avoid a clean install?

I got another hard drive so I will try and move my whole system to another disk and try to install it (so I can quickly get back to 7 and the working system)
