Looking for a method to remotely connect a computer

Do-it-yourself method:

Setting Up Then login through Remote Desktop (RDP) or VNC.

Use of existing product:

, Chrome Remote Desktop, all you need is an account And chrome should be installed on both computers.

Both JumpDesktop and ConnectWise Control Free are two products that can also be used for free for commercial use (I have not worked with JD recently so I do not know exactly how the product is today, although it is clear that it is still fine). Need to create an account with the service provider.

All of these (and surely there are more that blossom from my memory or I don't know) will allow you remote access and basic control.

There are also tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk that are pretty well-established and mature, but the free version is only for personal use and what you are looking to do falls into the definition of commercial use.

In any case, the usage experience also depends on the bandwidth you have in your office and home. If it is a normal asymmetrical connection do not expect to make an edit And stuff like that, but regular office work is enough.

You either have to have your office computers working all the time (i.e. not going to sleep) or you have to set up Wake-on-LAN (and actually Wake-on-WAN) through a dynamic DNS service. Depending on the hardware you have in the office it may or may not work.
