Hello everyone,

I discovered that while I was not working on the computer, the installed Eset security software was deleted. I found the ESET Security folder in Program Files empty of content. Their forum has several user reports describing the same phenomenon.

 

I want to format the computer in the most effective way to restart with peace of mind.

A. I realized that there is a possibility to do in 10 'Reset this PC' and select Remove Everything. As far as I remember, it is better to format the computer through the BIOS and then reinstall the .

B. Will computer formatting be sufficient in this case? Or is there a chance that the BIOS has also been hacked?
