What has been happening to Intel in recent years?

I'm trying to figure out how the revenue from the rest of things will jump by another $ 19 billion.

But you're probably a better fortune teller than anyone else in that stock Significantly lower after the current quarter and the announcement of a one-year delay at 7 nm.

In addition to being sued claiming they knew 7 nm would not be ready in time.

You are probably predicting a future that investors do not see.

You're right, I'm probably the only one who thinks there's no small chance (which causes the whole company to shift to its focus) that in the not-so-distant future the revenue of Autonomous vehicles (Mobilai) and everything that comes with it will cause the things you write about today Desktops (a dead domain anyway) become a nostalgic joke :)

Just for the proportions, the profit of In 2019 it was $ 33 billion.

BMW's profit in 2019 was just over 100 billion euros.

Intel and BMW are working closely together closely on the vehicles of the future. Take it wherever you want :)

You are wrong here in what order of magnitude: "BMW annual / quarterly net income history and growth rate from 2006 to 2019. Net income can be defined as the company's net profit or loss after all revenues, income items, and expenses have been accounted for.

  • BMW net income for the quarter ending June 30, 2019 was $ 1.634B, the 27.19% decline year-over-year.
  • BMW net income for the twelve months ending June 30, 2019 was $ 5.153B, the 47.75% decline year-over-year.
  • BMW annual net income for 2018 was $ 7.694B, the 21.04% decline from 2017.
  • BMW annual net income for 2017 was $ 9.743B, the 28.29% increase from 2016.
  • BMW annual net income for 2016 was $ 7.595B, the 17.2% increase from 2015. "
Beyond the fact that it is clear to all of us that they do not invest in processors and in our opinion this is a mistake, you think not and it is a spin.

and yet More profitable than a lot of companies then maybe Is it a lucrative business after all?

Intel are failing in their transition to 10 and 7 nanometers, not changing the focus.

Maybe Mobilai will be a dizzying success in 5 years but right now you're just guessing.

There is also no logical reason to throw such a profitable business in the trash and the fact that the computers are dead I have been hearing for 5 years.

In the meantime according to the profits of And Amd computers are not dead yet.

It is good to plan 5 years ahead but there is no reason not to invest in such a profitable business.

Maybe Mobilai will bring in $ 20 billion a quarter, but we will know that for many, many years, probably not now.

Someone said no ??

That they are failing and that they have changed focus, it is not contradictory.

Are you sure you understand what focus means? That does not mean they throw the existing one in the trash and fire everyone.

Whether they will be a success or not is really just a guess (although at the moment they are much more advanced than their competitors, by the way), but what does it have to do with it? Did I say it would be a success? I just said that they invest the most focus in it, out of a kind of obvious goal to succeed.

No one said they're throwing a business in the trash. You got yourself some wrong opinion about what I wrote and you react with a vengeance without realizing at all that you are arguing about anything ...

And the computers are dead. If you hear this it's probably true ..... the fact that even the little that is left of it in percentages is "a lot" (relative to ordinary people) in absolute money, it does not mean that we have not been on a downward crashing chart for several years.

Again, no one said no to investing. They have a significant department in the company with people who invest in the processor and semiconductor business all they have. That they fail is a different story.

Feel free to take a look at From recent years, go through press conferences they have held in recent years, exhibitions they have attended and what they have chosen to present there and especially what not ... and see how much of it was related to processors And some to other things, of DATA, AI, and autonomous vehicles.

What do you want them to publish? "Well listen friends once again we have failed. This failure has been going on for 4 years and we continue to be stuck until 2023"

Yes, it really is great advertising.

They are lucky that they manage to reach 5.2 ghz in the processors and Skylake Good overall.

Maybe they are investing while the channel does not mean there has been a change of focus and guesswork on profits as you said it is just guesswork.

They have nothing to show for their failures in the show so they shift the focus to future channels that might be worth something with the help of the name and if the stars line up and the weather is good.

Intel is a technology company

But investors a little less

If investors see that there is a good return with the existing technology or they are not investing money in development new

And there is no competitor so investors stop the development

Need competition and purchasing power

Without competition investors make money and squander

When there is competition then they check who is worth investing in and go with the most successful and powerful company

And the company has more opportunity to take a risk in finding new
