Unable to run two video cards on ASrock z390 pro 4

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone ,

ASrock z390 pro 4 board, currently connected 2600 TI that works bomb, I connected GTX 1080 TI and Windows does not recognize that there is another card.

I checked if it works alone and it does work, I guess it's some definition that needs to be changed, Also did not yield so many results, I would love to help.

1000W Power Supply

Thanks .

Have you checked in the BIOS the configuration of your slots, i.e. how the bandwidth is divided between the PCIE slots?

I do not know how many LANES you have in the Z390, but since the X58 boasted TRIPLE SLI and what not, Over the years they started to shrink a bit with bandwidth. So peek that you're not on 1X16 mode or anything like that, and if so then change to X8, X8.

And peek at DEVICE MANAGER and see if he really does not recognize or there is some error.

Edit: You board has an option of 1X16 or 1X16 + 1X4, note that you are on the second option.
