Hi, I'm on my way to buy an audio editing computer (CUBASE).
Mainly uses IKEA plugins, compressor, tape simulator, pramp simulator. There are almost no MIDI tools and libraries . a few questions:
  1. 1. Good for the processor? Good case? What is unnecessary and can be saved?
  2. 2. Is there really an advantage to As a main drive in this type of sound mixer work?
  3. 3. Can the second drive be SATA, and how old is it?
  4. 4. Does anyone know anything about the limited liability section in TMS? Something to pay attention to?
I'm aware that there is no video card here. I tend to take the computer as is, and if there is a problem I will buy a video card.

In a price of 10700K already better 3900X processor, more cores more samples for channel less latency, difference of 200 NIS +/-.

NVIDIA RTX graphics card, has new technology For noise reduction In AI recording.

Main SSD Clear!

The fewer fans in the case! Better for productions .

Power supply can be satisfied with 650W

Regarding TMS responsibility, consult Krill he participates here in the forum.

3. It is quiet QU QUET fans. Are you sure they're making a noise?

4. Power supply: I am a video editor, there is a situation I would like to upgrade to a video card. Maybe yes it is worth leaving a safety margin?

5. What about chassis and CPU cooling?

Thanks!

Whoever tells you such a thing ... it's better not to mess with computers and hardware.

The benefits you have in an Intel processor:

1. Built-in video card.

2. Good game performance (1080P)

Cons:

1. Outdated lithography 14 nano

2. Higher power consumption and heat dissipation 125W.

3. It is not possible to upgrade a processor in the future ...

Processor Advantages.

1. Excellent price / cost-benefit ratio

2. Modern lithography 7 nano

3. Better performance in productivity software

4. It is possible to upgrade a processor in the future (depending on the type of board)

Disadvantages.

1. Less good performance in games than the competitor (1080P).

2. No built-in video card support.

And this is for you ...

Hi thank you very much for the detailed response.

I'm sure that's true, but say the only computer I had problems with my SCARLETT 6i6 sound card, it was a computer with a processor . What do you think about this?

I do not know this card, but there is no situation that the problem is due to a processor .

Could be the manufacturer's lazy driver.

In short I have no shares in Unfortunately, if you all insist on Intel turning you on to it ... just keep in mind that the reliability of = 100% to Intel if not more.

post Scriptum. I forgot to mention another advantage to PCI 4.0 bus support.
