Is it possible to upgrade an original Windows 7 disk to Windows 10?

Recommended Posts

I have a valid Windows 7 disk that I bought a few years ago at KSP

I want to install a new type of hardware on my computer (Instead of the HDD) then install a valid Windows 7 on it using the disk

Then upgrade it to Windows 10 from the Microsoft Spot site

Will it work?

PS I have a product ID number of 10 currently running

And I also have a license number of 7 that I received with the disc
