Private Bezeq fiber router - settings

Recommended Posts

Hey ,

I'm interested in connecting to 1000MB of internet (Optical Fiber).

But .. I'm not interested in the router they bring.

I'm interested in buying a private router, already pretty locked on rt ax82u.

I know that you also need to buy a media adapter separately to which the optical fiber and cable will be connected To connect to the WAN port on the private router.

The main question is how do I set it up for it to work? - I'm almost sure the technician of Will not want to mess with it because it is not their equipment.

I read a bit on the net and saw that some define the router as a router As PPPoE or alternatively in an option called DYNAMIC IP

Honestly, I have no idea what these options are, I would love to get an explanation, and of course is it complicated or is it a simple operation?

Is there anything new on the subject?

I also installed Faber's today But do not want their Be, I have Excellent and expensive, so I ordered an adapter, soon it will come asking how and what should be set in the dialer of my router?

Because they required a username and password of a provider I guess it would be one of 3: PPPOE, L2TP or PPTP but what? And some of them require different and strange definitions.

To be honest I very much hope it will be PPPOE but it is highly advisable to know exactly
