Buying a product in an open box - need help

Hello, after I bought a new computer with the best of my money - I decided to renew my keyboard as well.

Decide already to take advantage of some accumulated gift cards and buy an expensive keyboard at a discount.

 

I decided to buy APEX PRO which cost about 1000 NIS without discount.

Since there was stock in individual branches I sent my mom who happened to be in the area of ​​one of them to buy.

The product came in an open package - both the glue on the sides and the sticker that says that if it is damaged then the package is opened.

According to the store, when I bought it, my mother was told that because of the cost of the product, the packaging was opened and inspected.

Other than that it sounds very suspicious - is it worth giving back? Check and then see? What about warranty and more?

 

Sounds weird that other products are also more expensive and not volumes to make sure contents. In short suspicious!

Since only we at RSM Computer Services have this keyboard in stock at this time, so I guess it was purchased from us.

 

As a representative of RS if Computer Services I will explain the issue 

 

All Steele Sarius keyboards open in Israel and are engraved in Israel, so the packaging of the keyboards is opened. The keys are engraved in Israel. 

Then the stores are sent to us, in this case to us.

 

This is done intentionally so that in order for the importer to be able to get keyboards that come with Hebrew directly from the Steel Serius factory, he has to order a very large quantity of such keyboards. Then maybe he will be able to get the Hebrew on the keyboard directly from abroad and then the box will arrive completely closed.

 

In this period of shortages of peripherals, especially in this model of Steel Serios it is not possible to order a large amount of keyboards from this model even if the importer wants very much 

Therefore the non-large quantities arrive in the country are engraved and repackaged, therefore the box arrives open and not hermetically closed 

 

This happens in the entire range of Steel Serios keyboards from the cheapest models to the most expensive models.

 

We also do not like the feeling that we have to explain to customers why the product is open, the reason the box came open is because I wrote above 

 

And does not mean that the product was used or sold as a first-hand product and is in fact second-hand 

 

Unfortunately the importer is not willing to provide us with keyboards with closed cardboard but with English keys only, because of the importer's policy and will not enter it at the moment 

 

I can personally guarantee you that you received a new product that came to us from the company

Thanks to the RSM representative for the explanation - after I opened and looked I saw that everything is in order, neat and clean - after installation everything works fine I decided to leave

 

Regardless of the matter after another purchase at RSM on this occasion I would love to say thank you for the purchase and I highly recommend the store for fast and professional service!
