Consultation with forum members - transmission / reception distance of 5th generation antenna

Recommended Posts

I am moving to a small apartment next to mine for about two months and in this apartment there is no good reception of home WiFi so I am looking for a temporary solution for high speed internet.

(I have a range extender that expands the absorption but the speed is not good enough for some of my needs)

I checked the govmap website and saw that there are 3 5th generation antennas from the leading companies a little over a mile from my area of residence (there is only one or two more area with antennas that are closer to me but with 4th generation).

I wanted to ask if any of the forum members have knowledge / experience in 5th generation networks.

1. From a distance of a little over a kilometer will I have a reasonable absorption of 5th generation?

2. Is there a company that you recommend for its stability and internet speed?

N. B. My device is the poco f3 with the modem X55 Modem-RF System.

Thanks in advance.

Assimilation of antennas 5G Should transmit to a maximum of a few hundred meters and of course the distance will be a factor of speed. Even if theoretically it is possible to reach with them in laboratory conditions for more than that, but the range is very much affected by objects, structures, etc .... so there is probably no chance that you will have reception from those antennas of 5G. Eventually more antennas should be placed 5G Per square area bull compared to previous generation antennas @ Lavie 2112
