Fiber Internet - Apart from Partner, no company allows the use of a private router

Recommended Posts

Hey friends

I am currently connected to Partner's fiber internet.

I have a fiber converter for cable That partner provided me and I use a private router and everything works fine.

Recently I started to check what the other companies offer and it seems that the prices are quite similar but ...

Except for Partner it seems that all the other companies do not allow the use of a private router but only their equipment

What is up???

Am I the only one who is bothered by it?

Partner is cheaper and gives excellent service, why do you want to switch?
I am personally at Unlimited and use a private router with a fiber converter, but from what people say it seems that nowadays one has to argue with them a bit before giving the option.

I was connected to Unlimited twice in two different addresses and both times they provided CAT5 / 6 into the apartment, so I do not understand why you need a fiber converter

You are not very up to date, they stopped connecting like this a long time ago, somehow you were lucky and your two addresses had a very old connection to them.

Everyone provides in the end, the question of what needs to go through them in order for them to deliver.

Check with ILFiber in Pace, there is a lot of vital information there ...

In any case, as long as you are a partner, I would not squint at any other company. No one competes with them, neither in prices nor in service.
