Install the nest driver on a network printer

Recommended Posts

Hey you,

I want to install a printer driver on my desktop computer Deskjet5200 series.

The story goes like this - my computer is plugged in To a Hotbox router located in another room.

To this router is connected another desktop computer (also via a network cable) and the above printer (via a wireless connection).

The printer is connected to the other desktop computer via a cable .

I did not find a connection in the printer .

From my computer I was able to access the printer settings interface (by typing in its IP address) and print a test page, but its driver installer does not allow me to install it as long as the printer is not directly connected to my computer via a connection . I mean, apparently I have to move the printer from where it is now, connect it to my computer, install the driver and then put it back in its 'natural' place, hoping it will work.

Is there a way around this and install the driver without the need to physically connect the printer to the computer.

Attaches you a diagram of the network.

Thanks in advance!
