We have all witnessed the IBA's struggle for survival in recent months, the threats and even their promotion under the auspices of the World Cup.

Unfortunately with as much as I try to find reasons to sympathize with the IBA I can not find.

Many like me see the IBA as a dinosaur body whose time has passed, I do not remember when I found something to see on this channel (except for the World Cup).

Which is waging a full-scale war against the entire Israeli public for the payment of the fee and who does not hesitate to take any measures.

It is known that there have been countless failed attempts to reorganize the IBA, which frequently pours large sums of money into old agreements, hidden unemployment and more.

There is no doubt that there is a need for an objective public authority that is not subject to capital evils and economic constraints, but as we want to do now, we must start all over again.

The laid-back employees who have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who does such a poor job that costs you from your pocket will receive inflated and unjustified compensation.

Moreover, it was promised that the few workers who did a good job could get their jobs back in the new format.

I wanted to raise this discussion in order to check whether there is anyone who is still in favor of the IBA?

Do you think that in our time there is room for such a channel or that its time is over?

Thanks

The IBA is a government body.

It is possible that this body is being conducted incorrectly, there is hidden unemployment, etc., etc. But the government must not dismiss all workers in a sweeping and one-sided manner. The government is responsible here for the salaries of hundreds of workers. These are normative families in Israel, not capital elves in villas with swimming pools ...

It is not right to present the problem in black and white and say or dismiss them all and start all over again or the Authority will continue to act as it is. There are many other options and the government should also serve as a model for private companies in the economy and show how to make changes when necessary.

(DA - I agree 100 percent that a change must be made)

There has to be dialogue, reaching agreements, making comprehensive changes, maybe even closing down a radio station or a channel , Even getting fired - but the way must be ethical, orderly and measured.

Regarding some of the things you wrote:

1. There is no fee anymore.

2. It is not true that there were real attempts to "reorganize" - it is a mistake to present the situation as "no return" - because there is simply no such thing, something can always be done.

3. It's hard for you to feel sorry for being laid off because they do not work for you or someone you know personally. These are simple and ordinary people ... and they do bad work.

And you know what? - Let's say they are doing a bad fact, a government that has held "bad" workers for decades - it's a mistake.

Employees can move, incentivize, change management, whatever you want - but dismissing them all sweepingly is just not fair.

I'm not in favor of the Broadcasting Authority, and it's clear to me that a significant change must be made there, but there are ways to do everything.

The Ministry of Communications is making an amazing spin here that no one has noticed -

They sit there, run a failed broadcasting authority for decades, no one in the public says anything,

One day they wake up on their left, they say they are fired, and suddenly the public supports the Ministry of Communications.

The Ministry of Communications has put itself in a deep pit and in order to get out of it it has to work very hard and in an ethical and measured way, and not like a thug.

Another hornet's nest of left-wingers.

The few programs that an investigation that few of them do and bring from time to time are not sufficient to justify the existence of the bloated and corrupt channel.

The TV bill should also be canceled urgently.

The collection authority is a collection of government employees who act like a band of unscrupulous bandits.

Some of them wicked, wicked people who did not know the land like them.

I would put them in front of a firing squad. (And I'm sure VIC would have joined the fun)

There is no justification for a channel And in general, the less intervention the state has, the better

The broadcast of the World Cup is a mockery for consumers who want to see a World Cup pay out of pocket in a private channel Why people who do not want to see the games should finance those who see

The struggle of the slaves is also stupid. There is no logic in working there to work or because they are dangerous because they will remain unemployed. Similarly, it is possible to build a canal from the Mediterranean to the Dead Sea

And give people spoons to dig because they need work

Another hornet's nest of left-wingers. are you real? Do you even know what kind of discussion is going on?

The few programs that an investigation that few of them do and bring from time to time are not sufficient to justify the existence of the bloated and corrupt channel.

The IBA is not just the 1 channel, please note ...

The TV bill should also be canceled urgently. You can not do things with a flick of a finger, they've decided that 2015 will not enforce a fee

The collection authority is a collection of government employees who act like a band of unscrupulous bandits.

The Enforcement and Collection Authority is a completely different entity, you may mean the collection department.

Some of them wicked, wicked people who did not know the land like them. Not exaggerating at all

I would put them in front of a firing squad. And I'd suggest you at least know who you're killing before you shoot him. You just write from unimaginable ignorance

The IBA is not just one channel. You think that as little intervention as possible is better, I do not agree, you need balance.

The broadcast of the World Cup is a mockery for consumers who want to see a World Cup pay out of their pocket in a private channel. Why people who do not want to see the games have to finance those who see.

You do not understand sailing in the economy

There are a million examples that work "just for work" - but this is already a discussion about an economy that has nothing to do with the subject

For our purposes, the state currently employs workers and even if it does not need them, there is a way to do things !!

What is 'central planning'?

And there are no facts here, it's not true, it's a matter of worldview.

I do not think that a net kominist regime is good but certainly not net capitalist either.

If there is no intervention by the state in any of the gaps between the classes (which are already skyrocketing) will only grow,

And all the way of life in the country will be managed by the owners of capital (communications, education, transportation, etc .. ..)

But again - this is a discussion related to the economy ...

In connection with the Israel Broadcasting Authority - I repeat -

Mistakes of the state can not come at the expense of employees (good or not).

The state must make processes (even if they are justified in the 100 percentage) in a measured and measured manner and not bullying! (And there are other ways ..)

What difference does it make if you call them the collection authority or the IBA collection department? I know very well who they are and what they have done to the citizens of the country over the years.

The storyteller and their severity shock everyone and shout to the sky.

There is no such thing I have not seen and heard I did not know.

There is no such thing as no one is responsible.

Those people who knew and continued, and pressed and pushed to collect money by force, and ignore facts and data and complaints and injustice.

Like (not like, exactly!) The system is built only to take money while blindness of choice.

It took decades of shocking complaints and stories, and investigations and articles.

should have And social networks, and a resounding and ongoing public outcry to begin to change and finally close the collection department.

Why??!!!

A bunch of bloodless suckers.

Yes the same people who let it happen on the managerial level, and those who are personally involved in the abuse of people who owe nothing, I would execute in front of a firing squad.

The main thing now is that a moment before closing them they come and cry, wait !!! moment!!! We can change !!

Where have you been until now ????

Only power they understand.

Art, you may be right and through the collection of the Broadcasting Authority was terrible but -

First of all, people do not kill people.

Second, the IBA is a government entity !!! Not private !!! The person responsible for this is the Ministry of Communications and the Minister of Communications and the Prime Minister!

You blame the government here, too! Tax collection is a government matter !!

You say exactly what I say but look at this upside-

Why should IBA workers be screwed up because of the government's tax collection policy?

But as stated, in 2015 Get Canceled this tax ...

This tax is problematic only because of the way it is charged - after it is canceled it is not that suddenly money will grow on the trees, they will simply take the money from somewhere else.

There is also a tax on the radio dA .. Apparently most of you (for those who have a car) are paying without even knowing about it ..

Again, the body is government.

The government does not hire its services. It is bad and it is the fault of the governments of all generations. What I am saying is that it is not fair that the fault of the governments

Will fall on the workers like a thunderstorm. that's it..

It is not true that there have been no attempts to change until now, there was a reform in the government's 2007. She may not have been as good as they expected, but that still does not mean that everyone should be fired.

And this is a socialists' worldview and it has weakened everywhere it has been tried

So it does not work and it's a fact

The IBA is the mistake of the state, and with all the sorrow of the workers, they are part of the mistake

It is not fair to force millions of people to pay a salary to those employees

If the workers want to set up a commercial channel that they will have successfully anyone who wants to pay will pay the time that the employees will begin to make a decent living and provide something of value and not just a display "

And the only bullies are the government workers elected by the people and if the government wants to dismiss it should be able to do zeal

What world view? I wrote explicitly that I do not think a Communist regime is good

The IBA is the mistake of the state, and with all the sorrow of the workers, they are part of the mistake

It is not fair to force millions of people to pay a salary to those employees

If they fired all the workers, they would still be funded through the unemployment office! Severance pay, etc.

If the workers want to set up a commercial channel that they will have successfully anyone who wants to pay will pay the time that the employees will begin to make a decent living and provide something of value and not just a display "

You are against a public broadcasting authority in a fundamental tone, and it was also well-managed. Your position is capitalist and that is wonderful

I just think that the situation will be bad and bitter if some millionaire will buy the channel 2 and 10

And he himself will decide what the entire country will expect without an alternative

And the only bullies are the government workers elected by the people and if the government wants to dismiss it should be able to do zeal

There are many ways to make a difference. The way to fire them all at once is not a way to act. Probably not the government!

Imagine that a large company will fire its entire marketing department. Now imagine that all the employees of the marketing department are part of the shareholders themselves!

Now imagine that this company is not commercial, but rather your government, whose goal is not to maximize profits but rather to take care of its employees.

So I say - if the IBA is rotten, we have to make a serious change - but we also have to do it in a proper way.

It is much more painful for me to cut the allowances of ultra-Orthodox children than the IBA.

The first channel should be closed without too much sentiment, their claims are ridiculous and for the same weight one can ask the state to recruit all the unemployed into its ranks -> pay everyone 10K and take a toll from every citizen for that too.

How many employees are in the public domain? How many citizens are there? You know what I agree: Come on we will make a best and fair referendum.

The ability of a government to make a change is very limited. In fact, any government is subject to the extortion of workers' committees and pressure groups. The government is incapable of making a change for the benefit of the people

It is only to steal and impose more taxes for those close to them

rdvd, this is not a dilemma for the IBA or child allowances.

And the IBA is not just one channel, as I have already noted. Their claims may be incorrect,

But change also has a way to do, do not have to act drastically.

meuser, it has nothing to do with relations between citizens and employees of the IBA and also has nothing to do with what they will eventually do,

But how it will be done.

And what is the connection of the government's capabilities to change? And if you think the government can not change maybe you do not even believe in democracy too ?!
