What a timed - with the certainty that Intel is advertising that it is cutting shipments For the DIY market lol. Crazy prices for Flatporna with long life up to 2020 +. Can not believe the price of the 1950X only 450 dollars for a CPU with 16 cores, remind me how much a parallel processor cost two years ago from Intel? Afraid of Ishaol :-).

If it's for gaming - the 2600x is better. It is both more mature and also gives slightly better performance. In any case, games today do not know how to utilize more than 4 cores. And it will take some more time for 6 to become the standard. (By then we've been upgraded to something newer) If it's for work, the 1700x is much better because it has 8 physical cores and another 8 logical ones.

I think in the direction of March-May.

In January they are supposed to receive the exposure at the CES exhibition, and then all the buyers of the 9900K at prices of up to $ 999 will be able to wear the hat, and for those who are not short of money, they will also easily abandon the blue ship and move to the new Reizen.
