Question about IEnumerable and IEnumerator interfaces

I wanted to know about the IEnumerable and IEnumerator interfaces in C # that enable a class in the Foreach loop.
Why not use these interfaces instead of setting a read-only attribute (containing only GET fonts)
And so it would be easy to go over the collection or array that the department has in the ForEach loop, and you can't change it.
All this without realizing the above interfaces?
Is not it more simple?
