Will the B460M motherboard support up to 2933Mhz work with 3200 memory?

Recommended Posts

It will work, but it also depends on the processor.
B460 chipsets (any non-Z chipset) do not allow Or a higher frequency than the processor supports.
I7-i9 processors support 2933
I3-i5 processors support 2666

So if you have an i5 or i3 processor Of 3200 will work in 2666 and not in 2933 even though the board is compatible.
In addition you will run XMP PROFILE because without it it will probably be lower even than 2666.
