Preparing a Windows boot disk

Recommended Posts

I downloaded a Windows boot disk to the drive .

To my surprise the whole drive was deleted and the drive became a drive of about 30GB.

I had to make partitions for the drive to allow myself access to the rest of the storage, but I had to boot to the same partition I created.

Is there no way to do this without deleting the entire drive?

The drive is formatted during installation preparation.

And there is no way to create a partition so that it will not be formatted?

Too bad they did not register it before the installation started
