Recognized memory in the BIOS but not in the operating system

Recommended Posts

good week,

My computer has two 8GB sticks and I decided to upgrade it with two more sticks so that it will have 32GB Total.

I purchased exactly the same modules that already exist, my motherboard is H170M-PLUS, I installed them operating system running as usual.

In the BIOS you do see the 4 modules of 8 GB but in the operating system Server 2019 sees only 16GB. If I run software like CPU-Z it detects all the memory compared to the operating system.

I'm missing some definition in That will allow me to use all the memory?
