Question about water cooling

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone.

Recently I was interested in liquid cooling and wanted to build a computer around the system.
Importantly, I am not interested in OC, not interested in as cool results as possible. I want to build a system with maximum emphasis on aesthetics and design (and of course as quiet as possible).

In terms of components, I do not yet have a final specification, but the direction is an NVIDIA card from the new series (once the stock and prices stabilize) and beyond the new series of (Again, once inventory and prices stabilize).

Time for me is not really a factor because I am not stressed on a computer (I have a tap that satisfies me enough) so I have no problem waiting a few weeks / months. What's more I take it as a hobby and fun of the construction itself and not out of an urgent need

I found a lot of sites in the sand if the hardware is pretty good and recommended in this area (whether it's EKWB for the loop itself and up to the cablemod for the color customization of the power supply cables).
What I am looking for is stores / suppliers in the country that provide similar services / products.

Can anyone give me some sites in the country as a starting point?
Thanks in advance

There are very few suppliers in the country for these products.

startpc offer a custom loop for a computer, but take a lot of money for it.

I usually order from abroad.

I would love to know what system you built and from which sites did you order in the sand (Custom Loop I guess?), Flexible / rigid piping? A block or even a video card? Which case? Single loop or email loop? (Suri on the excavation : ) )

Until now I have been with CaseLabs' STH10 (the latter - the company, not the case) with 4 radiators in total and rigid piping. One loop with two pumps for the processor and 2 .

I have now moved to a lian li o11 dynamic chassis with two 360 radiators, rigid piping and a distro plate fitted to the chassis. The 3090 is on the way so I have not yet purchased a block for it. As for the CPU, the excessive motherboard I bought includes a built-in block for the CPU and VRM (the board is Aqua x570).

Most of the equipment I buy comes from EKWB because I like their stuff even though they are far from the cheapest. I also used barrow and bykski from And bitspower for fittings in the past and I have nothing bad to say about their products.

Amazon is also not a bad option as a source of equipment and besides there are the performancepcs that I really like and their service is superior from my experience.

There is a video of Linus comparing a BARROW processor block (Eli Express) to an EK block, a difference of a few degrees.

Pipes in my opinion there is no difference between a Chinese and an American, and it is likely that Americans buy wholesale from China and chain to the world.

I bought PTEG from China and they are excellent.

As for sample pumps, this is something that is harder to test and stand on because you have to let them work for a long period of time to detect life differences.

In any case there are lots of great reviews on Bali Express pumps from BARROW and BYKSKI (if you are looking for something budget), there is also an option to choose a LOWARA engine which is an Italian company I think specializes in manufacturing professional pumps in many areas, so you can get European quality and Chinese price.

In any case, I would highly recommend that all the accessories of the loop - silicone, pipe cutter, 45/90/180 degrees benders, etc. Regulation from China, will save a lot and really no difference.

He noted that the direction that interests him is mainly visibility and less performance. I think ek's sailing looks better than Chinese company (talking about blocks and connectors). As for everything else like pipes, pumps and accessories - totally agree.

(And of course as quiet as possible).

Take a D5 pump and not a DDC, it is true that the D5 is by far the most expensive (and better), but the DDCs are considered to be relatively much noisier, even with the big fliers like EK.

Thanks for the info, you brought me a lot of directions (even in choosing a case - which I still do not have because I am thinking of doing 2 loops and need a case that will have enough space for everything and still stay clean and aesthetic).

I am thinking of going for glass pipes, is there a place in the country where you can get it or is it better to go to Amazon, Ali and such dance?
In addition, where can it be obtained In the country? This is one of the things that does not pay off to order dance because of its size and weight. But in the country the selection simply strives for zero. especially With tempered glass (like the Hellenic-Lee you mentioned above)
The case I have in mind for now is this
https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Level-Tempered-Single-Cooling/dp/B08165PCXY
Mainly because it has glass from every direction and is built in a way that you can put a water tank on each side.
Where can you get one in Israel?

A quick search did not find him in the country.

The lian li is available in a variety of versions in the country and is wonderful (though a bit corny) for cooling water

Yes it is definitely a good option for the case (mainly because it is available in the country lol).

Can you help me check what is the distance between the inner wall of the radiator and the left wall of glass? (Attaches photo)

Do you think 2 EK containers will fit in there?

I think Lian Lee's site has almost all the sizes you're looking for:
https://www.lian-li.com/pc-o11-dynamic/ Scroll down to the table and click on compatibility.

If you're worried about size there's also its XL version which is a few inches wider if I'm not mistaken:

https://www.lian-li.com/pc-o11d-rog/ (Same to reach measurements)

If that's not enough I will measure with me.

This will give you some practical direction in choosing the type of plumbing, how it works with each type:

PTEG and acrylic:

Metals:

glass:

Overall this is an excellent channel on the subject, it is one of the most professional moderators in the world, although the mustache looks a bit like a kind of clown.
