Request for recommendation on a 27 "computer screen for work

Recommended Posts

Hi friends,

I would be happy for your recommendation to choose A quality computer screen to be used Mostly For the purpose of daily work from home (And sometimes for movies, games, etc.), according to the following requirements:

  • Size 27 "
  • IPS panel
  • With height adjustment option and tilt back and forth
  • HDMI socket (and preferably other essential sockets)
  • Around a budget of 700-900 NIS

I got recommendations on the screens of (Not a specific model) who praise their high quality and reliability, and also thanks to the fact that their 3-year warranty is To the customer's home.

Looking at Zap in this price range, I see that in the last 3 years some screens of I understand most of them meet the requirements I mentioned, but I do not quite understand the specifications and do not know how to decide what is better,

Which is more suitable for my needs, and if necessarily the newest screen on the market is also the best and most suitable ...

First question for those who understand in the forum, can you recommend me any of the 4 screens of In the following link is it recommended by everyone according to my requirements and in general?

https://www.zap.co.il/models.aspx?sog=c-monitor&db187910=187953&db55019=2957752,2957751&db4147=4926&db435152=435154&db5465415=7786954,7108849&db3168516=3168518&orderby=price&noidx=1

Second question, would you choose to recommend completely different brands / models, in this price range and according to the above requirements? Which other screens would you recommend and why?

By the way, I saw in Zap 2 Samsung screens that look no less quality than those of Dell (one of them is also more expensive), and the 3-year warranty is *No* Up to the customer's house, so it seems less worthwhile to me ...?
Or maybe one of them is still a better option than, Despite the issue of warranty?

Thanks in advance :)

The first choice that appears there:

https://www.zap.co.il/model.aspx?modelid=998990

With 6 reviews giving 5 stars.

thank you for the answer.
Yes, I read the good reviews on it, but it's a screen from 2018 and on the other hand there are 2 new screens from 2020 on the list, which I thought might be a little more technologically advanced than it, nevertheless new in two years. Is this not a parameter worth considering? Or maybe in terms of specs they have no advantage over it?

It's a screen for office use. There is not much innovation in this field compared to gaming screens.

great. Thanks.
And no reference to Samsung or any other brand, because ...? Did I find the perfect screen?

Okay, and what about his big brother?

https://www.zap.co.il/model.aspx?modelid=1056762

I did not find any reviews.

After browsing the web I found the product page:

https://displaysolutions.samsung.com/monitor/detail/1535/S27R650

The benefits are:

Refresh rate 75HZ versus 60HZ (not really high)

FreeSync support

Note that the recommended resolution for such a screen size is QHD and not HD.

Thanks for your tip but now you have devoured all my cards ... :)
So what does this mean in the bottom line? Which size 27 "is better to buy a QHD screen? According to Zap, a QHD screen in DELL / SAMSUNG brands is almost twice as expensive as the Full HD models ... really not in my budget.
So according to you, is it either to compromise on QHD in cheaper brands, or to compromise on Full HD in quality brands?

The 27 "size QHD screens with the cheapest IPS panel I found in Zap are of And PHIILIPS, starting at NIS 1,135. Would you recommend one of them?
And the cheapest of Starting from NIS 1,349 ...

I would love for references.

Thanks.

Hi friends,

Since I do not receive a response from the person who posted the comment here regarding a recommendation for a QHD resolution for a 27 "(and not HD) screen, I would be happy for your reference:
How important / critical is it to daily work? And assuming I prefer a quality purchase that I will not regret later, and am willing to add a few hundred shekels for a 27 "panel screen And QHD (instead of HD) as recommended here, can you recommend me a sufficiently high-quality brand / model of such a screen at more reasonable and inexpensive prices?

The 27 "size QHD screens with the cheapest IPS panel I found in Zap are of Lenovo And PHIILIPS, starting at NIS 1,135. Would you recommend one of them?
And the cheapest of Dell Starting from NIS 1,440 ...

Thanks in advance :)

The prevailing opinion is that 24 "is worth FHD. And 27" is worth QHD.

What is the density of the pixels on the screen. And how far the user is from the screen. The farther you are, the less severe the pixel density.

If you usually sit close, and the budget presses select 24 "and FHD.

Okay, thanks for the reference.

Yes, I usually sit close to the screen in daily work in front of him (with keyboard and mouse attached ...).

So assuming I do not compromise on size and prefer to purchase a 27 "screen and also go with the recommendation to have QHD resolution, which brands / models are recommended at reasonable prices?

I asked in the previous post for a reference to, Philips ... Are they high quality? Which models? Or should you try harder for the price and buy a DELL screen? And then which model?

Again, my requirements:

High quality 27 "screen + QHD + IPS panel + at least connection + Height adjustment and tilt + price from the most reasonable in the category.

Thanks!

it looks good:

Lenovo L27Q-30

The problem that it does not have an elevation option. But I would take advantage of the operation anyway.

Still, if I insist on the height adjustment option because it is essential to me (and take into account that the price will go up), which brand / model is recommended?
If you go for the slightly more expensive screens in the category (about 250 NIS more), then you can find adjustable screens from several companies, including models of (Which I understand is one of the leading brands) which are also around this price ... All around NIS 1400 ~ plus minus.

There are 2 LENOVO monitors:

https://www.zap.co.il/model.aspx?modelid=1066777

 https://www.zap.co.il/model.aspx?modelid=1027399

There is one VIEWSONIC screen:
https://www.zap.co.il/model.aspx?modelid=1054391

And there are 2 DELL monitors:

https://www.zap.co.il/model.aspx?modelid=1002587

https://www.zap.co.il/model.aspx?modelid=1055959

So in this price range, which of these five screens (or did I miss something ...), which is the most recommended? If you take into account the totality of quality / specifications / connections / service ...?

I would love insights and a recommendation.

Thanks :)
