Where can I buy a back panel for a desktop computer, which includes an Optical SPDIF port?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

There are motherboards, which among their many inputs and outputs, they also have an Optical SPDIF port,

That allows you to transfer audio from your computer to another audio device, such as an amplifier with Optical SPDIF input.

In the previous motherboard I had, there was indeed such a port,

In the current motherboard I have I do not have such a port, but yes there are 2 pins on the board that are designed to connect to such a port, which comes on a back panel

(I.e. like a card, only without the card but only its iron, and the Optical SPDIF socket).

So I have the option to connect to the board, but the board did not come with the above panel.

Does anyone know where in the country it is possible to buy such a panel?

Thanks

Yes

Thank you

There are some things that can fit ..

The question is how to buy it?

Is it sold in the country somewhere, or is there a place that can be ordered from abroad?

Thank you all

Really excessive price ..
In all these cases private sellers who probably sell Accessories they received with their motherboard,
And that they do not use them.

I will buy the previous ones, at a more reasonable price.

I wonder why They do not sell themselves through any website, or through any external sellers.

Here is a cheap solution from Express:

And it also has a coaxial output that I find much more convenient than an optical one. It is a pity that in motherboards from recent years almost everything is optical. Their connection is flattened and tends to disconnect, and the cable is thicker and does not allow folding. Coaxial so more comfortable.

The big advantage in optical is that it gives you complete electrical insulation between the components of the system.

Coaxial does not give you that.

If one of the parts breaks down / burns, the damage may also pass to another part of the system.

Both of these connections are already out of date and have actually been replaced by HDMI, they do not support the new surround sound methods due to bandwidth limitation and those who are interested in it net quality already prefer to connect directly with .

This mainly prevents GROUND LOOP
