Also, in the first selection your drive should appear directly,

Without the word UEFI.

Look

Sometimes, starting over is easier and faster than making messy fixes.

Since the windows installation is new anyway,

Just make sure all board settings are saved -

UEFI + LEGACY and what appears as the first choice is the SSD

And Chick Chuck will reinstall the windows.

Chances are good that everything will work out in the current situation.

Completely reinstall or do repair i.e. install through the current windows and just keep all the settings and files?

And make sure the windows also does not install (although it should not, but still make sure)

Himself to UEFI.

Assuming you do not have personal material, you will reinstall everything.

Both faster and healthier.

Erase the drive at the beginning of the installation and install clean.

Update.

No problem I backed up the whole drive anyway before I started it all.

Only 2 questions:

1. How do I make sure I'm actually installing on the legacy and not on the uefi?
2. Is it better to disconnect the hard drive (hdd) during installation so that there will be no glitches that will cause things to be erased in it or something?

1. Usually the windows itself knows that the drive is connected in a way that is not UEFI,

But hey it's good when you upload windows on disk on key, make sure you do not upload in the form of UEFI,

I mean if it's through RUFUS, then make sure it's not UEFI.

2. Yes, it is better for the hard drive to be disconnected. What is certain, certain.

I have not installed Windows 10 for a long time but Rufus can install on UEFI and this is the default option when GPT is selected.

If you want to install on Legacy you need to select MBR
