Help with stereo system

Recommended Posts

So after the previous system started making problems, I decided to look for a new one.
After a long tour of the net, I first discovered that it is difficult to find a powerful stereo system today, and in addition I was able to find some relatively good options.
I liked the panasonic sc akx710, but Amazon UK says it is out of stock temporarily, and can be ordered and they will update an expected arrival date. Anyone know anything about this situation?
I also found the ck57 which looks cool, but I'm not so familiar with the systems of . Are they quality? Are they reliable?
And the system I connected to the most is the Sony shake x10d, but there was a weird section with it. Sony has not officially announced what its power is, but in answers to questions on Amazon they wrote that its power is 80w RMS per channel (total 160w) with 4 ohm resistance. It is very strange that such an expensive system has such a low power. To Which costs $ 100 less has a power of 1100w RMS.
And also, there is another system of The shake x1d, marketed mainly in the east and europe, which looks exactly the same as its only x10d has a power of 1200w RMS. Anyone have an explanation for this phenomenon?
Thanks in advance to all those who help.

None of the systems you mentioned have a power of over 1000w RMS this is eye work. Write a logical number, the other manufacturers wrote inflated numbers whose connection to reality is very tenuous.

Of course there is a standard but chose not to use it.

Just so you understand, power consumption data has a clear standard and the manufacturer has no choice but to use it. So I checked and saw for example that on Panasonic's system it says on the back that it consumes a maximum of 225w from the socket and the Consumes only half of that so where exactly do 1000w come from?

If you check out stereos that do not look like a toy with disco lights you will see that there are usually more standard carrier numbers advertised there. Apparently whoever buys these models a little more understands what to look for and is less impressed by the inflated numbers.

What do you say about the speakers: Peavey PVi 10 2-Way and Amplifier?

The question is also what you are interested in and how much you are willing to invest. Personally, if I were going for a stereo system only, I would take a digital amplifier (which is now available pretty cheaply) with a BLUETOOTH connection, and buy a pair of quality second hand speakers. It will cost you less than a micro stereo system like the ones you are testing, or about the same thing - but in better quality. Although you will not be able to connect a USB stick, but even with this you can get by using the player Cheap for example. And you can always broadcast to BT from your phone or TV.

Sample amplifier: https://amzn.to/3tr4Rwx

Example of quality new speakers: https://amzn.to/2OUdCQO

A total of about $ 225. Excluding shipping and taxes (nor cables).

The data is not in RMS of course but in Peak.

These speakers are usually at most 15W-20W per speaker.

By the way, 50 watts RMS is quite a bit and enough to fill Large at high volume.

Obviously hard to find, it will probably be possible to count on one hand the number of people who have bought a system of this type from 1990 onwards.

The best and most effective solution for you would be to buy two high-quality amplified speakers / monitors that you can connect directly to a TV, computer, or gland module.

There are quite a few companies for the home market like microlab, audioengine, edifier, swan that give full value for the price, or those that specialize in the professional market like tannoy, , presonus, pioneer, m-audio, adam, and more.

All are enhanced options without the need for an external amplifier.
