Deliberation regarding electrical engineering at Tel Aviv University

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, today I received an acceptance letter for the one-department electrical engineering track at Tel Aviv University.
Today I work as a software developer, my dilemma is whether to leave everything for the coming semester and start studying.

My main parameter at the moment for decisions is the salary, currently I earn about 18 NIS gross. My concern is whether I will invest 4 years of my life
In studies towards a degree after which I will receive a reduced salary from what I receive today. Of course the degree and the subjects of study really interest me and I am not willing to give it up
So easily. But I wanted to know what is the average salary of an electrical engineer coming out of one of the universities, of course there are many specializations and it is an extensive degree
Very but:

Does anyone know how to list the salary options in general?
2. Is it possible at some point to move on to the computer science track? What does it require?

I would also love a general consultation, everything is blessed, I feel I am at a crossroads and have no clue what to do.

1. Much higher than what you earn now, especially after a year or two of experience.

2. By and large you can always pass, but usually in computer science there is a much greater emphasis on math and electricity on physics (waves, MLM and such) so you will need to complete courses and in addition there are also integrated "computer engineering" tracks that do a bit of everything like that ( I do not know what it is like in Tel Aviv, this is how it was at the Technion).
