24/7 backup of the computer to an external disk connected to the computer

So what is the idea that you offer to back up your computer automatically?

I liked the idea of connecting it once in a while and not continuously
Think it will really help

In the context of the software itself, I dug really hard and found this free software

https://freefilesync.org/download.php

it's aboutA terribly basic software that is based on Batch commands and can be scheduled in Task Scheduler.

It has a 24/7 backup option, which after your recommendation I probably will not use

And it has options such as backup at the click of a button of all the files that have changed, and those that have not changed just will not copy the same files, thus saving full time tinkering

If you find that it is the software that meets your requirements / preferences, why not.

There will probably always be one or another feature that is not free.

But it is not always critical (the extra feature).

Successfully .

I use Paragon quite a bit. Great software, but it has one drawback. If you want to restore an old backup and then restore a new backup, you need to upload the new one through the menus there. It happened to me once that the software failed to upload the backup.

Also computer formatting and software reinstallation and further attempt to perform the recovery failed
