A different network name between the router and the cell phone

Recommended Posts

I did a Hard Reset to the router-modem (D link 2650u), and when I came to connect to the network again, the network name appeared to me as a default name (BEZEK something), and without a password.

I went into the configuration of the router in order to change the name And change password, and appears to me there Different (Hotbox something, does not exist in Wifi search via phone / computer) and a different password is completely different from the password that was for WiFi (the password for WiFi is the cell phone number of one of the partners, and the password within the configuration in the router is another partner's cell phone)

Honestly, I have no idea what the fucking thing is going on.

I would love to know if you have encountered something similar and how I can solve the problem, because at the moment I can not change there And give him a password

Quote of eliezer

Suggests disconnecting the router completely and only connecting to it with the computer with an Ethernet cable, and arranging the configuration

Joins the recommendation. By the explanation, it seems to me that the discussion developer connected to another device at all.
