Seagate reveals - the average hard drive today is 590GB
Apple and Intel have reported record profits, and so do Seagate. But the interesting figure in the report of Seagate Is not the company's profits (which are handsome in themselves) but the fact that today's average hard disk space has crossed the half-terabyte and is already on 590GB.
