The memory and power supply giant made muscle at the recent CeBIT show and its appearance has the greatest. It reveals its new memories, its first suppliers on the XNUMX-watt line - and of course its portable flash drives, which have been specially adapted for soldiers.
Kursaier, known to all of us for his strong desire to be the maker of the highest frequency memories, tries to prove this constantly at the big computer shows, showing that everything is possible, with a little overclocking. At Kursaier's booth, we encountered DDR3 memories, which are converted to a frequency of 2133 MHz. The memories were exhilarated in the exhibition to expose Kursaier's muscles, and she says they do not intend to start manufacturing memories at such a high frequency in the near future, and it will take a long time for memories with such an astronomical frequency, 2133, to reach the shelves.
As a continuation of the company's display, Kursaire introduced DDR2 memories that were rushed to a frequency of 1250 MHz. One can see Kursaier's strong desire to get into the list by means of memories of frequencies that almost never existed. This step, of course, only increases competition in the market and encourages other companies to produce high frequency memories.
In addition to the startled memories presented in the exhibition, Kursaier also presented some interesting sets, which for a change are available to the general public. The first set of two 2 gigabytes of simultaneous memory, working at a frequency of 1100 MHz, and in addition to the frequency, the memories operate at excellent times of 5-5-5-15. In addition, sources from Corsair said consumers will soon be able to purchase a total of 4 gigabytes of power at the frequency of the 1142 megahertz, the maximum frequency that is well adapted to the internal timing of the memory controller.
In addition to memories, Kursaier also presented her suppliers, known for their quietness and reliability, to the booth. Korsaire's suppliers can be divided into two series: the first, HX for the high market, and the second VX for the lower market. During the exhibition, Korsaire presented its flagship supplier, the company's high-end series, with 1000 watts. According to the company, it is the only vendor that provides 1000 watts and is happy to support the three-way SLI, NVIDIA's triple SLI array.
In addition, Corsair has put a lot of thought into designing the new supplier. According to the company, they have taken countless vendors and run them in extreme situations, in order to learn about possible problems that can arise in the vendor, and of course solve them. In addition to the new supplier, Corsair introduced for the first time the VX series suppliers, which are supposed to be cheaper and more environmentally friendly (thanks to high utilization capacity). This, as mentioned, can also be said about the company's suppliers from the HX series - but the main difference between the two series is the price tag, which should be much lower than that of the company's elite series suppliers.
In addition to the power supplies and memories that Korsaier presented at the show, we were surprised to see flash drives Mobile From the company's surface range, which was mysteriously adapted to the soldiers. It seems as though Kursaire had hitch a ride on the second Gulf War, turning it into a marketing trend. In any case, the company's field-mounted flash drives are built into a case similar to a durable aluminum lamp, whose main purpose is to seal the memory itself from water (up to a depth of 100 meters) and protect it from shocks and blows that may impair its proper functioning. This package is reminiscent of SanDisk's titanium memories, but Korsaier's chassis looks much stronger and more massive.
Apart from the hard drive case, which we can keep in mind, we noticed the memory capacity of the drives, 32 GB, which within a week became the standard for all the companies. Until before the exhibition almost could not be seen in the flash drives market Mobile In volume of 32 GB, and immediately after the exhibition the market was flooded with these drives, and this is really an interesting trend.
