B- Apparently, they were pleased that they got ahead of the competitor and brought to the network practical reviews of the GeForce RTX 2070 Super and GeForce RTX 2060 Super cards before the same thing happened for the Radeon RX 5700 and Radeon RX 5700 XT intriguing - but happiness may change Quickly disappointed in this case, following an extraordinary decision of Which is now exposed.

AMD has announced official recommended prices of 450 for the RX 5700 XT and 380 for the RX 5700 at the exposure position, No doubt they were based on these levels when they presented the RTX 2060 Super at $ 400 and RTX 2070 Super at $ 500, with the assessment that the great control of GeForce family products in the home market could justify a slightly higher investment in these models compared to the red competitors. Now, just a day before the official launch, Surprise and update that their recommended prices will actually be 400 dollars only to RX 5700 XT and 350 USD- RX 5700.

Boom - a cut of 30 to 50 dollars in prices just before the commercial launch

In the current situation, the RTX 2070 Super remains single at its price point, The senior (at least for now) who competes directly with 2060 Super, while the standard RX 5700 will compete directly with The standard 2060 - which is a great news for consumers pointing to the return of competition to the medium graphics processing market, after a few good years in which we saw price war buds mainly at the basic level of 200 and below.

A reminder - this is how the prices have been to this day (with the price of 500 for the jubilee version of the 5700 XT RX, which also gets a cost cut)

Very soon we will all discover how the Navi cards deal with the Super models - and then we may begin to fantasize about price cuts (official or unofficial) As a comment.

the mother Will be able to hijack the cost-benefit crown in the medium-high processing market?

  1. The title of this article is one side of the coin.
Here's the other side that could be -
Since the reds have been pumping the navy for a long time,
They were surprised by the Green Writer's cards and saw that there was none
Give them a chance against the new series in terms of performance,
Lightweight and material at the prices they initially declared
    Navy cards.
So the obvious move is to minimize damage and lower prices,
To stay relevant despite the welcome in performance.

    And think about it ……

    1. I was not surprised, in my opinion AMD made a move to reveal NV's cards
As a card-making company, they probably know / know that coming out RTX is not the culmination of what it could be.
NV has sold "cut" tickets to flagships (over 500 $)
Now NV has unveiled some more power from RTX's creator and AMD are lowering price neither at peak nor at bottom (250 $ to XT)
NAVI 5700XT could easily have been sold at $ 250 dollars in my opinion as a good card with 256 bit bandwidth (how about this is no more than a medium card)
Yes yes also RTX 2080 is a mid level card if it was above 256 bit I would say something else
If AMD had taken out something powerful you would have seen the 2080 and above with a bandwidth of more than 256
Note that 2080 also counts 256 bit means intermediate card

  2. I hope to buy the 5700xt is definitely better than my dear Enoydia, and probably I will also upgrade my processor from Reisen 5 1600X to one of the new Reisen and hope that amd wins and anyone else who hopes is probably stupid who loves monopoly for some reason
