Up-to-date Zbox models and first models from an entirely new family that promises great performance and the ability to upgrade on a small volume
Zotac is one of the most active manufacturers in the field of compact personal computers, and it seems to have every intention of staying that way, with the launch of several more recent products that join the near-endless arsenal already sold in stores.
The company decided to stay ahead of the NUC family of computers Intel And launch the Zbox MI640 Nano and Zbox MI660 Nano, which are compact and compact media computers that embrace Intel's new and successful mobile processors:Core i5-8250U square in the first, andCore i7-8550U square in both.
As with the NUC models, here too the concept is partially self-assembled by the customer, so you will not find built-in storage drives or RAMs in the computers - what you will get in it is a pair of memory slots DDR4 Mobile Up to 2,400MT / s and up to 32 GB, space for a drive storage One 2.5 standard and a built-in module that provides connectivity Wi-Fi 802.11ac Double Channel and Connectivity Bluetooth 4.2.
The computer input and output system is also quite rich with five 3.0 USB connections, all in front and back, a pair of 3.1 Type-C USB connections, a Gigabit Ethernet connection cable, an HDMI 2.0 port, DisplayPort 1.2 and integrated reader for SD cards - with the most impressive part being that all this is successfully compressed in a box that is only 0.85 liters in volume. Soon in stores near you.
The new second product of Zotac Answers to the name MEK1, and although it is difficult to define it as a record-breaking unit - it is a rather designed and special computer that includes the option to replace all its main internal hardware components and does not waste any extra volume on the way to this goal.
The MEK1 will be offered in black and white tones with a Core i5-7400 quad core processor and a GeForce GTX 1060 desktop graphics card or in black and blue tones with a more advanced Core i7-7700 processor and a GeForce GTX 1070 Ti video card. The rest of the specification will include a 240 gigabyte SSD drive, a terabyte hard disk drive, a B250 chip-based motherboard, memory DDR4 16 GB, built-in power supply (as opposed to external Zbocos), Wi-Fi 802.11ac wireless connectivity and Bluetooth connectivity 4.2, system Windows 10 in the Home version, built-in LED illumination and more.
We still do not know how much they will cost, but we certainly hope that,Zotac Will find a way to surprise us also in this context, in each of the models in the previous paragraphs.
