A squashed prism
The inspection kit we received was quite meager. We received only the device, a few manuals, a charger integrated with a data cable and headphones. The box is small and colorless and we probably would not have caught it from a selection of instruments in the store.
The 8X is one of those devices that have been specially designed, despite being a screen-most rectangle, a mirror that accompanies most of today's smartphones. Just as the Nokia N8 stood out for the rounded corners and the -Galaxy Nexus Surprised with its concave screen, the 8X looks non-standard. If we can describe the design of the device in two words - it looks like a squashed prism. A type of isosceles trapezoid.
True, this is not exactly a standard design, but it does make the device comfortable to hold - the rubber-like coating on the back panel also contributes to the feeling of comfort and stability in the hand. We do not know if this is really the most convenient device in the world as a company claims HTC But it's definitely one of the more convenient devices we've got to hold.
Within the same convenient shell we finally get the hardware upgrade for all the newWindows Phone. As we know, the previous version of the system, Windows Phone 7 supported only single-core processors and 512 megabytes of memory RAM. The screen resolution has also improved dramatically and we have received the latest sensor set.
- Processor: Snapdragon S4 SoC 1.5GHz dual core

As you can see,Windows Phone finally joined the big boys' league. They will not yet be at the top of the hardware charts with the Galaxy X III or One X HTC Itself, but it is more than enough to run the operating system that comes with the device.
Below the 720p screen on the front, we can find three touch buttons typical of Windows Phone devices - back, search and the "home" button with the new icon of Windows Consisting of four tiles. Above the screen is the earpiece and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. Inside the earpiece itself is a red indicator light, just like in the One X. The screen itself, by the way, is a bit convex on the sides and looks like it "spills" into the body of the device itself. On the back of the device is the rear camera with the 8-megapixel sensor and LED Flash LED. The micro connection is located at the bottom of the device USB And the microphone.
On the right side is the dedicated camera button and volume button with the SIM card drawer on top. At the top is the headphone jack, the screen's opening and locking button, and an additional noise cancellation microphone. There is nothing interesting on the left side of the device.
