The most popular game for 2015 gets visual upgrade, even before it officially landed on store shelves
In the coming days we will find out if the critics and players think there is a game here that manages to surpass the impressive qualities that Fallout 3 andSkyrim Before it, but already now we discover an interesting surprise - in the form of a first visual mod, which is available for download and use before the official launch.
This is a relatively small and simple mode that uses the familiar SweetFX tools from a variety of other titles (and allows 'dressing' of visual additions to almost any window-based title), to give the ruined and radioactive Boston a slightly more vivid and sharp look. The slightly gray look that exists in the title in the original is probably intentional - but we have to admit that the mod version still winks at us more. Direct comparisons of mod effect, as well as a download link, can be found Link below.
This is what Fallout 4 (4K resolution) looks like And in the maximum settings of the PC version) In normal mode
It's worth noting that in the coming months all we're seeing is this type of mod, which has a relatively minor impact on the game's appearance - the game's official mods, which are one of the most prominent features in all of Bethesda Softworks' developer titles, When that happens we can start and see really crazy mods that completely change the style and approach of the game (much like the countless mods of this type that already exist for Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3 and the like across the network).
And this is how Fallout 4 looks in combination with its first (but not really the last) mod
It will have some tough competition from The Witcher 3 and Metal Gear Solid V, no doubt, but do you think Fallout 4 will still become 'Game of the Year' of 2015? We'd love to hear what you think in the comments.
